If you're looking at minisplits, more expensive ones have inverter modulation on the compressor (slightly better power efficiency and less startup current) and better "quiet" modes (important if you want to sleep by it, not so important for work/average spaces). Mitsubishi is still one of the expensive brands.

>>3006349Not unless they explicitly advertise it, no. Fancy brands 100% will not give you any warranty if they can help it. Cheap brands and no-name would be easier to warranty because they don't care to check if authorized installer did the install or not. If it's for a bedroom, I'd still recommend one that has ultra quiet run mode for the interior unit, otherwise just buy a cheap one, maybe one with inverter at least, nowadays it's all cheap.
