So i have a fridge compressor, similar to picrel and i want to make it somewhat portable with a handle of some sort, welding is not an option.
I was thinking about getting some paracord and making some sort of knotting ending up top on a hande that coud be a piece of wood wrapped in the cord or a 3dprinted piece or whatever, but i have no clue how to tie it so it doesn't move around, it has to keep in place and keep some sort of balance, something like the pot in picrel that doesn't loosen without tension.
Any knot enthusiast have any tips?

Do a simple cross

Because there is no reason to carry that compressor around for any length of time, they get installed and that's that.

Maybe anon is using it as a vacuum pump for catching ghosts. Bet you never thought of that, smart guy.

you may live under a rock but those compressors are often repurposed as airbrush compressors, resin vacuum pumps and stuff like that, and they need some moving around if you don't have a permanent shop space

did i claimed you are good at it?

Bottle Sling hitch could work, but I'd probably tie something like https://www.paracordguild.com/paracord-ball-net-tutorial/ if I was working with something heavy-looking like that. Tie a handle off it then cobra knot the handle with more paracord so it's comfy to carry. Or just carabiner to belt.

it's about 10kg
i'll look into that, that cobra thing looks great as a handle

Use a ring of paracord (tied with a double fisherman's knot) as the ring at the bottom, not a keyring. Proper paracord should be used throughout. You may need to king cobra (i.e. two layers of cobra knotting) the handle to make it sufficiently stiff, or incorporate a rigid handle core.

noted
the thing has a spare hole in the middle of the flaps at the bottom that hold the rubber feet, that could be used maybe as an anchor point for the net
>>

If it was me, I'd add some bolt on rubber feet to the bottom and then use two of those bolts on opposing corners and bend up some flat stock as a carry handle that goes up and over...

Whatcha doing to that compressor
