Imagine buying both an impact wrench *and* an impact driver. Do you feel scammed now?
>>3007223>Do you feel scammed now?i bet you do for spending shillwaukee money on that chink piece of shit you coulda got off ali for $18
>>3007227> ali express from chinaWhoever they are, they innovated the fuck out of milwaulkee, they couldn’t figure out how to add a hole to the 1/2 square drive, lol!
>>30072301/2 drive is a holdover from antique days of oversized undertorqued hardware when studebaker was using 5/8 fine thread grade 0 bolts to hold the license plate on3/8 drive is far more practical because the average fastener encountered now is an m8. and hot shit 3/8 drive will do everything up to and including 1/2 g8 torque to yield with a slimmer sized socketand these chinkshit things are glorified screwdrivers with a tiny hammer that barely do 50ftlbsplus that faggy hex butthole has a magnetic in the bottom that catches all the swarf and renders it useless for bit retention crap impact is crap
bosch did it years ago
>>3007223>someone makes the conscious decisions to by tools they want/need and were not tricked in to doing it.that is not a scam.
>>3007223Cool, a Bosch freak in red
>>3007223I don't see the use case scenario where I'd want 1/2" impact torque on my small bits... Am I missing something here?
>look at shilltoob>new vid from that wellknown annoying 4 eyed pinhead on chink impacts by and add phaggot
>>3007223i would never buy american tool and I'm pretty happy with both of my impacts that are Bosch pro
>>3007232>retarded take>shiny barely used toolsimagine my shock
No because I found my DeWalt impact driver on a dirt road, fully charged
>>3007342> american toolLol, the USA hasn’t made a power tool in 1 or 2 decades… Can’t make one now, and it’s going downhill from here.
>>3007223No, I own duplicates of both for the same reasons I own multiple angle grinders, to leave the variety of attachments installed I require for a given task and so I can swap rather than overheat one tool. More than a few DIYers have decades of professional experience in the same or related tasks. Of course we want the same or better personal loadout as at work because tools speed completion. Serious DIY can nearly eliminate paying other people to labor for us. Our money goes much further and we keep the tools which frequently pay for themselves on first or second task while offering instant use. I don't pay mechanics, plumbers, electricians (inspections excepted), welders, computer techs and that's the short list. MANY Anons are far more capable than I am. Fuck yes I buy, make and modify many useful tools and never cried myself to sleep over having more/better than minimal equipment, minimal storage, minimal or no dedicated workspace, or minimal transport. Neither did my gearheadbros (we help build each others shops, transport machine tools and much more). DIY is life. DIY is a financial effects multiplier. DIY builds broad and deep life fucking competence. I should have got many more tools and equipment much earlier in life. Gear up then use the capabilities you acquire!
>>3007440> rather than overheat one toolI just use one big un instead if dozens of little toys that overheat, break, slip out of my large powerful hands… you know the story.> I don't pay mechanics, plumbersI have friends. You should try it. Usually you need some skill or ticket in something you can return. Maybe you’re a certified deep-tissue massage technician. I could use that sometimes.> lower.> lower.> lower! You can always sell your tools and steal^h^h^h^h^h acquire new ones
>>3007531So I'm supposed to make friends with people that have skills I don't? So I need like one geeky nerd friend I guess...
>>3007354>notoolz faggot doesnt have spares of spares in the drawer for shitpoasting >obviously 0 trigger time on any shit over 1/4 hex maybe 1 of the uncles your mommy always seems to have around will give you a new iwmpwakt wench for christmas champ
>>3007223>60s/70s driller plus circular saw adapter>Shit ass chink hammer driller>3in1 cordless driver/reciprocating/oscillating sawsImagine ragebaiting about other people's tools/needs/preferences
>>3007223don't see why you'd need an impact wrench when a breaker bar can easily top any torque a handheld toy can provide archimedes bby
>>3007223>Imagine buying both a hammer drill *and* an impact driver. Do you feel scammed now?
>>3008949> breaker barI don’t use tools that don’t require multiple overly expensive, incompatible, proprietary lithium ion battery systems that change every year.> BL> brush lessSo, it only has one brush, one less than corded tools. One day, we’ll have brush free tools with no brushes.
>>3007223those are two very different tools anon>hol' up, just gotta rattle up this philips head into some drywallt. have an impact, a driver and ratchet because they all have vastly different use cases
>>3007230I know exactly why they didn't add it, retards will go full gorilla and destroy every fastener they touch and then flip shit about it. You already see that with regular 1/4" impacts that have way less torque, I see people on here all the time talking about how they're useless tools that ruin everything.
>>3009590I think most people use impact guns wrong. The best example is lugnuts. Idiots will go to town on them not realizing there is no chance you're ever taking that off on the side of the road. The spec for most passenger cars is like 90 ft-lb.
>>3007223my impact wrench would snap any bit in your driver
>>3009629Different tools exist for a reason and idiots will argue they shouldn't until they run out of breath.
>>3009606We used shitty Craftsman impacts at my old shop for that exact reason. They'd get the nut to like 75 ft/lb and then you could do the rest with an actual torque wrench. You can do about the same thing with modern ones by timing it right but it takes more experience and technique and varies between guns.
