For me on the job site its total bramd tools, i chuckle every time i come actoss a makita cuck at work
Wow, congratulations on choosing a brand of tool to use. Very impressive.
>>3007701Everything i do is impresive
why are used angle grinders always plugged up with sheetrock dust? ive bought several off ebay for cheap that were absolutely packed and needed cleaned out and every time i go in the hockshop 3/4 of their selection looks like its been on a coke benderive never felt the need to even use a grinder on metal inside a sheetrocked room let alone cgew on the wallswtf am i missing?
>>3007748Thats caked on saw dust from the last time i used it to sand some planks, but here in the sand box the standard buullding material is cement so grinders get exposed to alot of dust
>>3007748They're a pretty bad tool for cutting sheetrock. It works great, but it also creates 5 times as much dust as it has any right to. I think if there were blades thinner than the basic cutoff blades then I'd try this again. Everyone uses multitool to cut-in to drywall.
>>3007745Such is the case when overcoming disabilities yours. Congratulations Anon, you're an inspiration.Where does one get Total tools? Those look like pure unfiltered chinesium
>>3007679What's wrong with Makita?t. I don't even have wireless tools, just a random variety of ancient corded shit that nonetheless does the needful generally speaking
for me it's dongcheng/gaocheng
>>3007925I get them from one of yhe arabs i work with >chinesiumYes but their good, total is the same as incgo if your familiar with it>>3007940Makita is expenisve
>>3007940Theyre the only major power tool company that hasnt been bought out by globohomo, so some shills on here naturally hate them
>>3007679Makita just means they started the trades 2008-2012 -ish before dewalt and the Chinese holding company that does ryobi and Milwaukee did their marketing push
>>3007748Think it’s concrete, concrete grinding is a thing flooring guys do a lot For some reason they do it on a rolling stool rather than a purpose built concrete grinder
>>3007940People hate them because you can’t steal them and pawn them as easily as Milwaukee or dewalt So the drug addicts on site will try to bully you into either of the brands and steal your batteries (newer ones) for theirs (abused older ones) And / or steal your new tools to go get high for the weekend
>>3007679Here in the third world those tools will be stolen
>>3008904Im in the middle east and their in my house
>>3008904Why don't you just hop the border and live in the US illegally? What motivates you to stay in the third world?
>>3007679i use total for my diy stuff. i like them. they're good and cheap. fuck the logo tax.
>>3009808I can testify that they hold up to profesional levels of abusse
>>3007679Can't judge you. Even the most basic Chinese stuff is good enough™ these days since brushless motors and newer battery tech became widespread
>>3010079I run Milwaukee for batteryshit. I still break them. If I am breaking the same tool multiple times a year I get the festool and it doesn't break anymore. Milwaukee also has an incompetent warranty department so when I broke my multitool they sent me two new ones. Festool warranty is the best, at 2 years 9 months I send my tool back and say it's sparking or whatever and they completely refurbish it and send it back 100% free. That being said, both of them are not worth it unless your tools make you money or you're rich and just don't care.
>>3007679Am I the only tool chad on /diy/ that is brand maxxing?
>>3010291My tools make me money and i still use chinkshit>>3010321I dont want to deal with a bunch of non compatoble batteries
>>3010325>I dont want to deal with a bunch of non compatoble batteriesThis. I buy corded tools whenever practical and then just stick with Makita for cordless because that's what I have batteries for.
>>3010325What am I looking at here? Some kind of high school art class project?
>>3010506
>>3010511Not bad, but your teacher sucks. Why did he let you pour the concrete first and then let you dig a hole to put it in? That’s weird. And your braces look like ass, but for a school project it ain’t bad. Also, pic related.
>>3010511>yid script>cheapest tools bragginggtfo of this board and go back to spewing pipul on /pol/captcha: daves star
>>3007748Alot of folks use anglegrinders to cut tiles. A dedicated machine is expensive, unlike a stonecutting disc.
>>3010511Do you even have 4° of slope on that?
>>3010558>4°?>3°!!! what do 2° for?>i cant belive my own son is demanding my last degree!>help police! a madman is trying to kill me over half a degree! >oy gaveldt! youll be hearing from my lawyer about that backsloped roof you owe me!
>>3010321which rotates clockwise the best anon?
What basic tools should I have as a fatherless man in a single mom household to stop hiring drunk tradies that do sloppy jobs
>>3011220portable drill (with masonry, wood, and metal drill bits), 2 locking pliers, adjustable wrench, a hammer that weighs more than 250g, a set of screwdrivers, a multimeter, nails and screws, measuring tape, big pipe wrench. electric tape.buy them one at a time, and learn what you can do with each. 3 years ago i was scared to handle a hammer drill, today i finished sanding the staircase ceiling to remove fire stains. the only tradies i hire now are plumbers because i don't want to deal with plumbing problems myself.
>>3011272Don’t most masonry guys run SDS hammer drills ? Never seen a guy just drilling concrete in a keyless chuck drill from an entry level Kit
>>3011295Thats because you're a dumb faggot who doesn't know shit!Pic related bud.
>>3011295i have both, unless the hammer function is absolutely needed (going through gravel or extra dense mass), the battery powered drill will prove more convenient 90% of the time. i'll pop an SDS bit into it and in it goes like butter. slower yes, but more precise and quieter also.
