Got this old coffee grinder from the 60s; it turns, but the blade won't turn, or loosely.It's a Braun KSM1. Only have picrel, no box, no manual or accessories.Bottom cover opens with two screws, but can't see how to get past that.

>>3007982There's probably some sort of plastic clutch(used to prevent the motor from stalling) that has given up. Seeing that this was made in Spain, it's probably over 50 years old(nobody makes consumer appliances in the west anymore) and the plastic became brittle with age. You'll need to separate the motor and blades and look to 3D print your own clutch/slip plate/whatever.

It was bought around then or in the early 70s.Plastic is sturdy and as good as new, not even yellowed (it was kept in the shade).Not certain if anything broken at all or just loose. Parts will probably be easily sourced from China anyway.Anyway just realized there's a bolt inside accessible through an opening in the bottom cover that the blade attaches to and was able to unscrew it. Still need to open the whole thing. I'm guessing the grey part detaches from the white one, but it hasn't budged yet.

i get trying to fix things that sort of work, but i don't think a 60-year old coffee grinder is worth it. i wouldn't really want to drink coffee that was ground in it even if you got it to work.
