I'm moving out specifically bc my upstairs neighbor been coofing since he moved in months ago, trying to get out as quickly as possible before I'm too mad but I hit a hole in the ceiling with a bucket bc he also plays loud bass karaoke at six in the morning

This is pushed in a bit and falling apart, it's about six inches wide and I don't know there's some wood or cardboard, should I like break off the paint or spackle whatever the white shit is and try to save the wood part and paint over it or wut, should I just let my landlord handle this I'm sure he already has paint and shit
