Someone threw out this chinesium karaoke system. The mixer/amp on the top of the unity is borked but the speakers and tweeters look solid. Would it be reasonably cheap and straightforward to turn them into passive speakers? There are lights attached to the speakers and the tweeters and speakers were all hooked up all-spaghettified to the amp's PCB, but I'm assuming I can bypass all of that malarkey and wire them up as normal speakers.

Yes. You need to know the speaker's coil impedance and power rating, then match them up to an amp. Build a crossover to match each speaker's frequency response.

This, Indeed.
Some Chinamart speakers use weird impedance, depending on whatever mystery meat components they have on hand for the amp. I've seen oddities like "10 Ohm".

I took the LED's out of my bluetooth stereo by taking the housing off and removing the rings around the speakers, it SHOULD be just a few plugs to remove and some screws for the LED boards, I fucking hate rainbow ever-changing LED's so much
