my foochin neighbor decided to raise animals inside a residential area. his "ventilation" spot is directly aimed at my windows. i can't keep the smell out nor let fresh air in. i put up with it for almost a year and suffered a great deal. now i want to fight fire with fire.
When you say residential, that implies an area not zoned for agriculture. No idea where you are, but are there codes against owning livestock? Make it a problem for the authorities.
>>3009827Is pic related what he keeps? If so, I'll have you know that goats are real escape artists. They don't need a lot of help or encouragement to leave their pen. Chances are he'll get tired of chasing them down eventually.

>>3009827call up your local code enforcement office and leave an anonymous compliant. someone will come by tomorrow and handle it.
>>3009827So you did nothing for a yearThen made a post on 4chanAre you sure it's really bothering you?
tell him his shit is going into your window, that's all you had to fucking do the moment it started happening.
>>3009827>i put up with it for almost a year and suffered a great deal>now i want to fight fire with fireIn that entire year have you even once thought about having a conversation with your neighbor?
>>3009856Why bother with anonymous? You'll get a lot more credence if you leave your name. Is he worried his goat fucking neighbor is going to take revenge?Realistically OP is too much of a pussy to do anything about it. He's going to have to move.I actually have my money on Mexicans doing cockfighting, not goats. Assuming USA.
>>3009827Point an ozone generator at his ventilation spot. It'll neutralize the smell and take care of the animals.
>>3009827according to ai: >For this fact pattern your core claim is private nuisance (odors/fumes crossing the property line and interfering with your use and enjoyment of the property). To state it, allege these elements:>You have a property interest — you own, lease, or otherwise lawfully occupy the affected property (standing; guests/visitors can't sue). >The neighbor's conduct caused the interference — the goat/manure fumes physically drift onto your property and directly into your window. Odors, smells, and fumes are recognized as things that can cross property lines. >The interference is substantial — more than a minor annoyance, judged by an objective "reasonable person of ordinary sensibilities" standard (your own heightened sensitivity alone won't do). >The interference is unreasonable — a balancing of the severity of your harm against the utility of the neighbor's activity (nature/duration/frequency, character of the neighborhood, whether it violates any ordinance, and whether it could be mitigated without undue burden).>To make the case stick, also plead and document:>Duration and frequency — a recurring, ongoing condition (dates/times log, photos/video, witness statements from other affected neighbors).>Direct intrusion — that the fumes are funneled directly into your window, not just a faint distant smell.>Concrete harm — inability to use the room, open windows, or sleep; any health effects; reduced property value/rental value.>Ordinance/zoning violations — if the manure storage or herd violates local setback, animal, or health codes, that strongly supports "unreasonableness" and weakens the defense.
