I may be wrong, but I'd say considering how the designs and games have been changing towards one clear direction I would say they totally missunderstood the QB fanbase.

I think people liked the QB girls because they were hot yes but because they were also charismatic. But it seems they think if they turn more and more like a shitty low quality hentai game it will sell more.

That would require that they made a good job with it. From what I've seen so far, Queen's Blade re:build will be lacking severely and apparently it was designed as a console game with heavy restrictions.

Of the original Queen's Blade characters, only 3 are playable, only 6 are rivals, and the remaining 10 won't even appear as rivals.

> Rivals (6): Aldra, Alleyne, Menace, Melona, Risty, Shizuka.
> Extra rivals (2): Nenne, Kunne. (not from the original QB)

It would have been nice if all the originals were playable. And since they made a card game, it would have been nice if you could play with friends.

Also there's the issue with the censorship and the CERO restrictions. Even CERO D 17+ does not allow female nipples / exposed breasts. So don't expect a total "armor break", and the in-game picture gallery is not expected to have the level of nudity found in /e/. The real scope of the censorship will only be known when the game is released.

With only 3 playable characters, one could say that game is a small fraction of what it should have been. If they wanted to celebrate the anniversary at least the original 19 should have been playable in the base game. Queen's Gate Spiral Chaos had 48 playable characters. There is no excuse.

Reminder that only a hung, muscular, and virile monster could ever truly satisfy a beast of a woman like Cattleya.
