I can't grow a beard and have very little body hair and I swear to God if people ask me why I shave my body hair (I don't it just doesn't grow) or "why I want to look like a prepubescent little boy" ONE MORE FUCKING TIME...

My lack of facial and body hair has literally been my single biggest insecurity since I turned like 13. My peers gradually getting hairier and hairier with age, now including lots of back hair and shoulder hair and here I am stuck with almost the same amount of body hair I had when I was like 10. I'm fine with my facial features, height, body, and weight but my lack of facial/body hair is really getting me down.

Doesn't help that almost all straight women and gay men, and heck even bisexual or pansexual people all seem to prefer the hairy look! Women have literally left the bed when I took off my shirt and they found out I didn't have chest hair.

It's gotten to the point where I can't wear shorts or take off my shirt at the beach. Can't even unbutton the top button of a shirt because then it'll show I have no chest hair.

So how important is it to be hairy really? Should I even bother trying to look fashionable if I have so much holding against me anyway? If I can get a date but she'll leave the bed when she finds out I have no chest hair?
>>
no hair = gays will like you
hairy = women will like you

very simple maths
>>
>>18697669
Gays love body hair. You just haven't a clue.
>>
>>18697675
You got him good
>>
get muscular and tan if youre hairless
>>

not true at all from my experience lol. gay men like hairy more than anybody i've ever met and most gays actually despise feminine gays for playing into the stereotype that gays can't be manly. it's why masc4masc is such a huge thing in the gay community

Like pottery. Of course gay men like hairy dudes, but it’s only the gay gays, i.e. a fucking minority. Who’s gay from my post’s perspective is the countless closeted fags and bis and cucks and curious “striaght” imbeciles who get their cocks hard when they see a twink, without understanding that what they like is the feminine element of it. Be hairless like a girl —> appeal to this sort of gay. Be hairy hairy —> appeal to 1 gay gay out of 100 males.

All that pottery and at the end of the day you won’t disprove that all women like hairy men. Fucking jokes.
>>
>>18697665
Eh I really REALLY wouldn't stress out about this. A lot of women are super into the hairy look sure but it's not all women or even most women. If you woke up super hairy tomorrow you'd become more attractive to some women sure but also less attractive to other women. While technically there are some things you could do that might work such as minoxidil and shit I really wouldn't recommend it personally. You won't be able to please every woman anyway no matter what. I've encountered a lot of women into the hairy look but also a lot of women who just thought it was gross so as already said you can't please everyone.
>>
tl;dr
>>
>>18697705
if it matters at all i'm not op but he basically just talked about how he's insecure about not being able to grow a beard and not having much body hair. about how women refuse to date him for it and how other men make fun of him for it
>>
>>18697665
I'm not sure if you're gay or bi or if an opinion from another man matters to you but in my opinion the guy on the left looks a million times more attractive than the man on the right. The guy on the right looks too much like a gorilla and I realize some guys may see that as a compliment but I don't. I love a smooth muscular chest.
>>
>>18697665
I'm no therapist but it doesn't sound like your lack of hair is really the problem here. I can understand generally wanting to be hairier the same way a guy might want to be taller or the same way a guy with a huge nose might want a smaller nose but it's not normal or healthy for it to be affecting you this much, especially since it's something almost entirely out of your control.

I won't tell you to seek therapy because that's pretty cliche and often dismissive advice and a lot of people can't even afford it but you should definitely be taking care of yourself better. And I can't help but feel that even if you were hairy there'd be something else about your appearance making you insecure instead.
>>
I thought Asian women hated body hair
>>
>>18697931
If he's feeling this way and made this thread then either he's not Asian or he lives somewhere where Asian men are a very small minority.
>>
>>18697931
They say so but every Asian bitch I've been to spends like hours playing with my chest hair and call me a monkey
>>
>>18697665
Your insecurity is a far bigger turn-off than you being hairless to be honest. Like far far bigger and it's not even close. You'd have far better chances with women if you were hairless but confident rather than hairy but still insecure.
>>
>>18697665
>if people ask me why I shave my body hair (I don't it just doesn't grow)
>"why I want to look like a prepubescent little boy"
>Women have literally left the bed when I took off my shirt and they found out I didn't have chest hair.
It sounds like a lot of context is missing between all of that, probably stuff you missed or misunderstood, but overall it kinda sounds like you're autistic. Not even meant as an insult but I mean you seem to have many traits associated with autism spectrum disorder.
For the first one it just sounds like simple genuine curiosity, not necessarily malicious.
Then for the second one it sounds like banter. People say stupid shit like that to each other all the time, especially in all male friend groups.
And for the last one that's probably not really why they left the bed. It was probably something else and they just used that as an excuse. They're probably still shallow either way but if they were liking you up till that point I highly doubt the lack of chest hair is what made them stop liking you.
All in all I'd say you're taking these things way too seriously. You need to stop taking things so seriously.
>>
>>18697665
You only want hair on the top of your head. Anyone who says anything else is coping.

Hair on the back is nasty.
>>
>>18697665
How old are you? It takes more time than you might realize.
I could barely grow a beard back when I was 24, now at 33 it's looking pretty good.
>>
>>18697701
This. Only full blown megagays are into hairy men. I am heterosexual/biflexible (would fuck a femboy) and unfortunately very hairy myself, not dissimilar from the right image in OP
>>
We must be living in completely different universes. Where I live it's the complete other way around. The desired look is hairless and if you're hairy people find it weird
>>
>>18698137
There is no culture where women don't like some hair.
Literally none.
>>
>>18698139
Well I'm glad you've lived in all cultures then to know "literally none"
And by the way Googling stuff about a culture doesn't equate to knowing everything about them
Even if you ask people from that culture those people are only a few people. Even within a culture there are several different viewpoints
>>
>>18698252
it's not about culture bro it's just that facial hair and body hair is physical proof of masculinity and testosterone. it's something that seperates men from boys and that seperates men from women. the same way that boobs and prominent butts are physical proof of femininity and estrogen as well as fertility. it seperates women from girls and seperates women from men. that's why guys with little body hair and women with flat chests are less desirable on average because guys with little body hair are less masculine and women with flat chests are less feminine. overall it's biological and evolutionary
>>
>>18697665
Huh? Is this a thing people are actually concerned about these days? I can't grow a beard and my body is not very hairy and I've never had any difficulties getting laid. If anything I actually have somewhat more success than a lot of my bearded and hairy friends.
>>
>>18697675
Gays also love twinks
>>
>>18697675
Gay here. I love both! Smooth skin is sexy... but thick caveman hair is also sexy.

Straight guys just convince themselves that gays are attracted to features opposite of their own, so they can feel safe that gays aren't interested in them.
>>
>>18698483
Yeah I don't think his lack of hair is the reason he can't get pussy. Very few women I know would reject a man on that alone. A lot of women do have a preference for hairy men sure but they're not vehemently against hairless men either. It's definitely not a mandatory prerequisite to get pussy. They're probably rejecting him for a different reason and he's wrongfully assuming this is the reason.
>>
>>18698488
>Smooth skin is sexy
as someone who is somewhat insecure about not being hairy though not as insecure as op is about it just reading those four words made me smile a lot. and i'm not gay but i just love the idea of people finding me sexy regardless if i'm attracted to them back or not

so i have perfectly smooth legs and wear relatively short shorts a lot (not super short just slightly above the knee, a 9 inch inseam) would seeing my legs in public turn you on?
>>
>>18698510
Bro in what fucking universe are 9 inch inseams short shorts?! Lmfao. That's like almost touching the knees.
>>
>>18698516
Nta but it depends on the length you're used to wearing. If you're used to regularly wearing shorts that go several inches below the knee then I understand how 9 inch inseams can seem like short shorts.
>>
>>18697665
Okay I'm pretty sure you're just making this up or at least heavily exaggerating. To 99% of the population not being hairy is just NOT a big deal even if they might have a slight preference for hairy. When you say that women have left the bed because you don't have chest hair I believe that ONE woman MIGHT have left the bed and now you feel like a victim and are assuming all women are like this due to insecurity from one bad experience.
>>
>>18698724
Yeah this story of his just doesn't make sense. I've heard of many guys being rejected for being short, for having a small dick, for being fat, for being bald, for being poor, etc but being rejected so many times for not being hairy just sounds like pure fiction.
>>
My legs and asscheeks are basically pure black from hair and I've considered getting it lasered because I'm worried women would think it's gross.
>>
>>18698510
9 inch? Nothing to see in those. Get you some 5-inchers to have me drooling at those sexy thighs.
>>
>>18699075
i'm actually gradually working my way up. my swim trunks are currently 5 inch inseams. my swim trunks used to be 10 inch inseam. i gotta work my way up to make my casual day-to-day chino shorts 5 inch inseams too

as someone who used to wear really long and baggy shorts even my current 9 inch inseams feel quite scandalous but i'm working up to 5 inch inseams because of how much my 5 inch inseam wearing friends boast about it being so comfortable and how any longer length holds you back once you get used to them

even with 9 inch inseams in my head it feels like everyone is staring at my exposed lower thighs so i can't wait to see how 5 inch eventually feels like
>>
>>18699072
Are you just simply worried or have women actually explicitly told you they think it's gross? Is it just in your head or have they told you? Because I know a lot of women who are actually really into that shit. To get confirmation I would ask around the women in your life. Even if it's just female acquaintances at work or whatever. Even female family members because they likely know what other women want. Don't get rid of something that could potentially be a huge advantage for women who are really into it.
>>
>>18699099
>my swim trunks are currently 5 inch inseams. my swim trunks used to be 10 inch inseam.
Nta but I actually prefer longer shorts for day-to-day because of more pocket space and protection from the sun and shit, basically cargo shorts hate me if you want, but for swim trunks I do actually prefer 5 inch inseams as well. It's just so much better for swimming since there's no extra drag caused by long swim trunks in the water as well as giving a much better tan overall. I'd much rather have a mid-thigh length tan line rather than a knee-length tan line.

You kinda sound like a little bitch honestly. Either way my advice to you would be suck it up buttercup.

Female preference for body hair varies greatly, kinda like how male preference for female pubic hair. Yeah we don't want women hairy, but you will find about as many bush and clean shaven enthusiasts.

I will say however that most women do not enjoy a hairy back or balls. Hairy backs are just unaesthetic and associated with old men, in the bad way. My ex specifically said it's just not enjoyable to lick/suck hairy balls. She also didn't like getting a face full of long, twisted pubes when deepthroating, she liked them trimmed to a shorter length.

Women in general tend to have fewer terminal hairs on their body, except for armpit hair, pubes, and leg hair. Their T and DHT levels are lower.
>>
>>18697665
I don't think this is as big a deal as you're making it out to be. I see both really hairy guys in relationships and not so hairy guys in relationships all the time.
>>
>>18697665
Hairiness isn't important. I've never even heard women bring it up. What matters the most is being tall and attractive. A tall and attractive hairless guy will have a lot more success than a short and ugly super hairy guy. Not sure which category you fall into but yeah.
>>
>>18697665
Idk dawg I shave my face I think it looks nice. I guess I choose your burden lol. I don’t have a super hairy body just a stripe that goes the whole way down, idk what my back looks like but it seems pretty much hairless. Just get into swimming and say that’s why if you give that much of a fuck
>>
>>18700096
i'm not op but that actually makes things worse because there are methods like minoxidil to become hairier but you can't exactly make yourself taller if you're a full-grown adult who is already done growing and you can't make yourself more attractive either without some really expensive plastic surgery lol
>>
>>18700101
>Idk dawg I shave my face I think it looks nice.
Not OP but I shave my face because my facial hair is so bad and looks like a bunch of pubes glued on my face lol. All I really get are some shitty sideburns and almost nothing in the middle, just a few random singular strands across my chin, upper lip, cheeks, etc but it doesn't connect to anything. Even when I let it grow out because of laziness of just being at home for a long time or whatever people ask me if I shave the middle and left only the sideburns lol. Honestly I'd rather just not have facial hair at all at this point. I can't grow a good beard yet still have to regularly shave anyway. And it grows back surprisingly quick too. And I highly doubt it's ever gonna get better either because I'm in my 40s and this is the same amount of facial hair I've had since I was like 22.
>>
>>18700265
>Honestly I'd rather just not have facial hair at all at this point
Then you'll look like a full on soi faced tranny. Some facial hair is better than no facial hair.
>>
>>18700288
nta but nahhhh. facial hair is pretty much an all or nothing thing. you can either grow good facial hair or you can't. sometimes even if you can't grow a full beard you can go for a goatee or something but some guys can't even pull off a goatee. i see so many guys in public who borderline come off as homeless because their facial hair looks like shit and yet they refuse to take care of it or even trim it. not to mention if you're already an unhygienic person facial hair can get nasty real fast
>>
>>18700288
Look my dad is the ultra super masculine type, what many people today might mistakenly call "toxic masculinity," believes in stuff like men shouldn't cry, always keep your hands rough and callused from hard work, no wearing colorful clothes, don't do any more hygiene or grooming than the bare minimum, always be ready to fight, etc but even he admits that my facial hair looks like shit and that I should shave it.
>>
>>18697669
Not true at all
Hairy = weirdos like it
That's all
Most people will deal with whatever though I'd you have a good personality
>>
>>18700399
As much as I try not to judge others for things they can't control, yeah, that has been my experience as well. In particular I knew this one gay dude who was REALLY into SUPER hairy dudes (so much back hair that you can't even see skin and super hairy buttholes too) and he was SUPER creepy. Like in public he would watch porn of super hairy dudes on his phone, and look up pics of super hairy guys on Reddit, pics of super hairy overweight guys who looked like they didn't shower in like a month, and he would talk about all the stuff he wanted to do with those men. And he also regularly sent people pics of his full bush as well as of his hairy butthole.

I know it's not fair to generalize but whenever I meet a gay guy who is SUPER into hairy men, that one guy is all I can think of and I wanna puke.
>>
>>18700518
him being into hairy dudes wasn't the problem the problem was that he's just extremely creepy in general. come on porn in public? please tell me he at least shut down the porn when children and families were around
>>
>>18700563
Oh no sorry to disappoint you but it gets worse. He DID watch porn in public when there were children and families around. Even when confronted by it he doubled down saying that it's his right to watch whatever he wants on his phone and if children and families don't like it they don't have to look.
>>
>>18700576

>>
>>18697665
Seems like hairy is favored where you live but that doesn't mean you can't make up for it in other areas. Being funny and being confident are two of the most attractive things in a man. Also dress well but not so well to the point that others start to suspect that you're gay or "metrosexual" or whatever. Going to the gym also helps.
>>
>>18699916
Women are just as hairy as men. The only difference is their body hair are thinner, but they're usually still visible. Body hair on humans aren't vestigial organs. They serve as tactile sense organs and the first line of defense against parasites.
>>
>>18699407
Nigger, just because some people have it worse doesn't mean every other problem isn't worth worrying about. There are levels to everything. Why are you on a fashion forum? Why do you care about what your clothes look like? Just be thankful you even have clothes to wear. Millions of people in the world can't even afford to wear a couple of sets of basic clothes.
>>
>>18701491
lame explanation on his part but i do agree that in general, of all things lack of body hair is a pretty retarded thing to worry over. in the 30 something years i've been alive literally no one i've ever met has had a problem with lack of body hair. the only thing that has been brought up as a turn off is if you're literally as hairy as a gorilla as in so hairy no one can even see your skin color (still, older people tend to be more accepting of this than younger people though) but other than that no one has made a big deal over body hair or the lack of it

Once again, brainlets. Being 100% gay (from now on: megagay) will certainly make you long for hairy dudes, because you want to get the maximum of masculinity. But being megagay is also rare. If you take 5 “gay” dudes of today, only 1 will be megagay, the rest is just guys who are into femboys and twinks. This is literally the tendency of today, this is what porn and “sexual liberation” trigger among male population. So the first post is correct: a shaved smooth dude will certainly appeal to that quite vast majority of “gays” who actually enjoy the same sex provided it has elements of the opposite sex. The hairy man, on the contrary, will always appear desirable to the one in a hundred men AND to the absolute majority of women.
>>
>>18697665
>I'm fine with my facial features, height, body, and weight
Count yourself lucky then. Just be glad you're not 4'9" or 400 pounds or ugly as hell. I can guarantee that most women would prefer a hairless 5'10"+ guy who is handsome and weighs around the middle to upper 100s pounds or so over a guy who is super hairy but super ugly and 4'9"- and who weighs 400 something pounds.

If it makes you feel any better that video in the OP post shows basically the ideal female form as well as the ideal male form and them falling in love with each other and do you notice much hair if any at all on his body? Do you see a single hair on his chest and/or stomach? The video quality makes it relatively hard to tell but at most he only has a very small amount of arm hair and leg hair. He and her look about as hairless as each other actually. If you're hot as hell then hairy or hairless no longer matters.

word. i do have a general preference towards hairy men but i would never reject a man for not being hairy either. at most i'd only hold it against him if there are already many other qualities i already don't like about him anyway.
like i could say, more or less in order from most severe to least severe, "i don't like him because he's a manipulative jerk, he treats everyone around him like shit, he's rude to employees, he smells like shit because he almost never showers, his breath smalls like shit because he never brushes his teeth, he's really overweight, his nose is too big, his skin is full of acne, he snores too loud, he farts too much, and oh, one last thing, he barely has any body hair."
if i already don't like him anyway that could be another extra thing added to the list but it's not a thing i would reject someone for at all.
>>
I only really keep the hair on my chest and some on my groin, the rest I keep as minimal as I can, but I don't really obsess over being perfectly gone. Just trimmed down to nearly nothing with electric clippers when it gets thicker. I also keep my asscrack hairless, I noticed that women don't want to go near it when it isn't, and I would have similar reaction if I saw a hairy female asshole.

>>
>>18697665
Huh? This is a problem some guys have? I'm pretty hairy and from my experience women have not been a fan of it. I could see the excitement on their faces when I shaved my chest smooth and waxed my back smooth and trimmed my legs, arms, pubes, and armpits. Not sure if it's because how young I am and how young women my age are (I'm 20) but women have not liked my hairiness. I also grow some (very patchy) facial hair and shave it off smooth. Can't even pull off stubble.
>>
>>18709363
>Not sure if it's because how young I am and how young women my age are (I'm 20)
that's literally it. on average people in their 20s and younger are generally not very hairy (with the exception of certain ethnicities of course) so naturally that's not what women that age want unless they're really into men that are much older than they are. i assume that op is much, much older than you if women are rejecting him for not being hairy enough. if he's not exaggerating about his experiences then he's probably 40 at the youngest because men by that age are usually really hairy (again with the exception of certain ethnicities) and therefore what women that age want unless they're really into men that are much younger than they are
>>

In short, you want hair but the right amount in the right places. All women want men to look like Manuel Ferrara. All of them. But much more and it gets gross. Much less and it’s unappealing.
>>
>>18697665
Not sure if my opinion as a straight guy (very slight possibility of being bisexual) matters but to me the guy on the left looks a million times more attractive than the guy on the right. The guy on the right looks kinda gross actually. It looks like they shaved like 5 different people's heads and then just glued the hair from that all over his body.

It doesn't matter. People will just look for any excuse to make themselves feel superior to others.

Hairy? Call the hairless guys prepubescent. Hairless? Call the hairy guys disgusting primates.

Don't let those small dick/big mouth faggots get under your skin.
>>
>>18697665
Uhhhhh...wanna trade places? Where I am the vast majority of women of all ages find hairy men really gross. As a hairy guy myself I'd kill to live wherever you life. And in return you can live where I live. And then everyone's happy! A perfect happy ever after!

LMFAO say that to my hairy ass you dumb twat and I've been waxing that ass for years
Women shave and wax so often that you genuinely believe they don't grow body hair outside of pubes
Only women i know that dont grow much hair are the east asians and even then, they still have visible body hair when not removed like in the original vidrel.

This isn't a biological thing based on sexual differences, we're mammals too, not half-reptilian

Your lack of body hair is not an issue. Whether people like hairless or hairy men is a sort of 50/50 thing where you can't please everyone. It also have somewhat to do with trends that come and go. But your insecurity over it sure hell is an issue.
>>
>>18719451
Based. Insecurity is the number one biggest turn off regardless if you're trying to impress women or trying to impress men. Regardless of what you naturally have you gotta own it. Owning it like a champ is the most attractive thing you can do.
>>
>>18719589
true but much easier said than done because there are certain physical characteristics that are pretty much considered objectively unattractive to the vast majority of people. no one wants a man who is 4'11" for example. very few people want a woman who weighs 500 pounds. almost no one wants a person with naturally super yellow teeth. close to zero people want someone with a really several facial deformity. no one wants a person with really dark skin in one of those countries where light skin is valued and people even purposefully regularly go out of their way to lighten their skin. unibrows are considered almost universally unattractive except for very few places. and so on
body hair or lack of it in specific though is not one of those issues. it's a 50/50 thing like another anon said
>>
>>18719720
Those traits you listed sure are in different levels of severity. From least worst to worst it'd go something like this:
>6th place: Unibrows. Unibrows are literally so easy to get rid of. Just grab some tweezers.
>5th place: Naturally super yellow teeth. There are ways to lighten your teeth even if it's not perfect. Your goal should be light yellow teeth not super white anyway.
>4th place: Dark skin in a racist country that hates dark skin and promotes lightening up skin. Not quite sure where to put this one in terms of ranking. Depends on where you live and exactly HOW racist it is. If you are attractive enough otherwise I imagine you could make up for having dark skin. Otherwise there are ways to lighten up skin even if they're harmful.
>3rd place: A woman who is 500 pounds. It's incredibly unattractive but there are ways to lose that much weight even if really hard. Go watch My 600 Pound Life.
>2nd place: A man who is 4'11". This is where it gets really complicated because there's not really a way to change your height naturally. Just find a woman who is super short, even shorter than you and hope she doesn't mind.
>1st place: A really severe facial deformity. Certain facial deformities are such simply extremely disturbing to look at and almost nobody will be attracted to that. Depending on the deformity they might not even ever be able to live a regular life. Surgery can help to an extent but from what I've seen even after surgery the person will still look hideous just somewhat less so.
I think most of us can agree on that ranking. It's about how ugly it is AND if it can be fixed or not.
>>
>>18697665
...is it just me or does the image of the hairy guy on the right look like a cropped NSFW image? Like the hairless guy on the left is cropped too but you can somewhat see the waistband squeezing his hips. The other guy however just sort of goes straight down.

Question...how old are you and your peers exactly? I haven't seen anyone make fun of someone else's body in the way you're describing since I was like...
>My lack of facial and body hair has literally been my single biggest insecurity since I turned like 13.
Well 13. Back when I was in middle school. Middle school was fucking rough but in high school they already stopped making fun of other people's bodies in that way. Kinda of odd that the age it started for you was the same age it ended for me. Your story doesn't sound right. Either your peers are REALLY immature as in borderline mentally retarded or you're a 13 year old who happened to find 4chan in which case get out because you have to be 18 to be on here.

nta but oh really? for me high school was the worst time of my life when it came to making fun of people's bodies. in middle school there was some of it but it was a lot worse in high school. for me it basically only got worse and worse from elementary school to middle school to high school in terms of how mean my peers were to each other. 3rd grade was probably the best school year of my life and 11th grade was probably the worst

>Women have literally left the bed when I took off my shirt and they found out I didn't have chest hair.
See when I first read this 44 days ago I thought that this was bullshit but in those 44 days since that actually happened to me. And it wasn't just a random woman either it's a woman I've known for over a year at least and always been very good friends with me and she's actually helped me a lot in my darkest times and we've been dating for 6 months and we've actually cuddled and made out with clothes on before we got in bed we took off our clothes with the lights off and we began to have sex and she was loving it a lot, she was very happy and moaning and explicitly saying how she loves it but then 30 minutes into it she was like "huh where's your chest hair?" in a genuinely shocked and disappointed tone and to be clear she had never seen me without a shirt before this point and hearing her question I just told her "it's there don't worry" and that very second she went to turn on the lights and in a borderline aggressive toddler-like tantrum which was completely out of character for her as she was usually very sweet, caring, and mature started to go like "ew you have no chest hair! why didn't you ever tell me this?! disgusting! you're a man! you're supposed to have chest hair!" and I thought she was joking at first but then she very aggressively and violently pushed me out of her room in a way that kinda hurt actually and didn't even allow me to put my clothes on and then as I was about to leave her house I basically had to beg for her for my clothes that were still in her room so I could drive home and I begged for more than an hour and then she very angrily threw the clothes at my face and she actually forgot my belt and socks, she only threw me my shirt, pants, shoes, and underwear but I was like "good 'nuff" because I was tired of being there. And after that she blocked my phone number and all my social medias and never talked to me again. She liter

>>
>>18726729
NTA but yup. I personally have a preference towards women with shaved body hair because there truly is nothing in the universe softer than a female with no body hair. If a man shaves his body hair he still won't be anywhere as soft as a woman. And since my preference is so strong I can't be with a woman who never shaves her body hair. But regardless I wouldn't berate and ghost a woman if I found out she was super hairy when she took off her clothes. I would just sort of say hey this isn't gonna work out but I'd still be friends with her.
>>
>>18726748
How has 4chan fallen so hard that you even believe this fake story.

What happened to this place???
>>
>>18726976
I wish I could say I didn't believe it because it scares me that there's people like that out there but I dunno I've met some VERY psychotic people in my life. Like this one guy I used to know who would lie about everything and I mean literally EVERYTHING. He would even lie about something as inconsequential as what he ate for breakfast or what movie he watched yesterday. And it's not like he had a bad memory or anything he was actually really good at keeping track of his lies and keeping things consistent.

Then there was this woman who would ask people seemingly innocuous questions but then proceed to make all sorts of accusations if you gave her an answer she didn't like like she'd specifically ask you what race you find most attractive and then she'd call you a racist when you responded. Then this guy who would turn everything into a competition and constantly try to one up others and get furious when he lost. Like it was so bad that he'd straight up treat something as small as rock paper scissors or tic-tac-toe as if it were the fucking Olympics, kinda like those kids from PE class who took sports way too seriously but a full grown fucking man. And that's only three people of the many I encountered. So overall not as bad as his example but still pretty bad. So because of my experiences I'd sort of give him a 50/50 maybe benefit of the doubt.
>>
>>18726983
your people actually somewhat believable. now the fake woman that other anon made up is too much of a cartoonishly evil villain. even if in theory she did do what she did in the end no one who "I've known for over a year at least and always been very good friends with me and she's actually helped me a lot in my darkest times and we've been dating for 6 months and we've actually cuddled and made out with clothes on" would pull this shit. they'd do it at the beginning if they were ever to do it at all. that's how you know it's bullshit. and even at the beginning it wouldn't be believable but definitely much more so than after "over a year"

>>
what

everyone thinks hairy men = poor ugly indian
>>
>>18727073
I mean it depends on where you live and the circles you hang around. Older people are more likely to be okay with it since people in general (even women, which is why you often see some old ladies with beards) get hairier with age anyway. Similar how to younger people baldness is a massive turn off while older people don't mind nearly as much since at least half of men or so (if not more) end up going bald by a certain age. And also similar to how older people are more laid back about their partner gaining weight since after becoming parents and all it becomes harder to lose weight. Gay men also seem to be more accepting of super hairy men than straight women regardless of the stereotype of the silky smooth feminine gay man (most gay men I've met have been super masculine actually, as in you would have no idea they were gay if they didn't tell you. I've actually met more feminine straight guys than gay).
>>
>>18727050
I think part of the reason could be the 4chan user base has gotten younger. The oldest 4chan users probably have gotten tired from posting stupid shit on a now out of date now relatively obscure website with a bad reputation and have gone out there and actually gotten a life! Perhaps they even own their own house and are married with a wife and kids by now. They're too busy and successful to have time to spend on here. Meanwhile now the younger users remain and some edgy new young people from like Gen Z (I really hope not Gen Alpha) are coming in making this place a true brain rot. Another reason could be COVID which somehow made the entire world even more stupid than it already was. The worst thing since 9/11 which already made people stupid.
>>
>>18727447
>(I really hope not Gen Alpha)
When you mentioned this part I got curious and looked up "Gen Alpha" age range and was shocked to find that the very oldest Gen Alpha members are almost 18 (they're 16) aka also almost old enough to legally be on 4chan. This was genuinely shocking to me because I always thought of Gen Z being little kids and Gen Alpha literal babies in diapers (I do know the very youngest are, they're 2) and so it's shocking to think that the oldest Gen Alpha members will be 18 in just two years. I actually didn't know they were 13, old enough to be on any website on the internet at all period. I thought that ALL of them were 2 years old like the youngest. Wild. I'm getting old.

I have a similar issue but just with my legs where the rest of me is actually pretty hairy chest, back, and shoulder hair included as well as a beard but from some reason no hair grows on my legs at all. Doctors said there's nothing wrong hormonally and that it's just a weird quirk. It's actually weirder than you think because where I'm hairy I look pretty tan but then my legs are as pale as a ghost. And no it's not because the rest of me gets more sunlight, I shaved a small part of my arm just to confirm and the small part of my arm I shaved was as pale as my legs. I'm naturally pale but my body hair makes me look more tan. It's so weird. It's why I never wear shorts.

>Women have literally left the bed when I took off my shirt and they found out I didn't have chest hair.
I refuse to believe this
>>
>>18734221
Even if they did leave the bed it was most likely some other reason that OP is not aware of. Like perhaps he smells like shit and the second he took off his shirt the smell got even stronger or something. Otherwise that's just so fucking weird. A lot of women (though not necessarily most) do prefer hairy chests but they won't just outright reject a man for NOT having chest hair. In the long run of a romantic relationship if you really genuinely like the person that thing should be at the literal bottom of the list of worries. If this is really happening as often as OP claims then there's probably some other reason these women are rejecting him and the chest hair thing is just a quick excuse to avoid giving a long explanation and not hurt his feelings about the real reason.
>>
>>18734221
that part is so trippy just simply because i've been rejected BECAUSE i had a lot of chest hair when i took my shirt off. one woman said that it's because her father, grandfather, and uncle had really hairy chests and she just can't get past the association
>>
>>18734497
I'm bisexual but my male family members are also super hairy and I just can't be with a man who is super hairy so I get where those women are coming from. I actually tried to get past it with a cute guy who I dated for like 6 months and I just couldn't every time he took off his shirt or got naked I was just reminded of my dad or whatever and got extremely turned off. Even when he shaved or waxed it it wasn't quite it because the stubble growing back was so painful and scratchy. So I go for guys who just naturally aren't very hairy to begin with. I'm not attracted to super hairy men and I hate stubble as well so it's the best option for me.
>>
>>18697665
That's really strange. Not only do I not grow a lot of hair naturally but I actually shave my entire body and wear relatively short shorts regularly showing my shaved thighs and I've never had issues getting women nor have they ever complained. At worst they were kinda caught off guard at first by how soft, smooth, and silky my skin was when they touched it but they learned to love it in not too long. It could be because I'm generally considered attractive by women and I'm a big athletic guy (6'4") so perhaps it "makes up" per se for the natural hairlessness and shaving but your story still doesn't make a lot of sense.
>>
>>18735375
I'm way way smaller than you but I'm also athletic and shave my legs. I swim, cycle, and run regularly. Most women I've been with have loved my shaved legs and can't resist rubbing them. One girlfriend in specific whenever I wore shorts literally kept a hand on my bare thigh all day long very lightly rubbing it. A lot of the women I've been with are even jealous that my legs are soften than theirs. So OP's situation really doesn't make sense. And I'm not even attractive either.

>>
>>18735412
if you're attractive enough or rich enough or whatever then not being able to grow a beard doesn't matter. if it worked that way then all bearded guys would be in successful relationships meanwhile all non-bearded guys would be single and suffering

I can't speak for anyone else but a smooth muscular chest is one of the sexiest things ever to me.
>>
>>18735907
hairy muscular chests can look great too but i do agree with you overall. while the hair can accentuate the chest it at the same time kinda takes away attention from the muscles so a smooth chest is overall better
for me it more or less goes smooth muscular chest > hairy muscular chest > hairy non-muscular chest > smooth non-muscular chest
smooth non-muscular chests are the worst in my opinion because a non-muscular chest is already not a pleasant sight and there not being chest hair to disguise it at least a little just leaves the chest looking really sad
a smooth non-muscular chest only really works specifically on very feminine guys who are most likely under 25

somewhat similar, whenever my nose hairs grow out i enjoy plucking them with tweezers. it hurts like a bitch and makes my eyes tear up a lot but also feels so satisfying for some reason. i wouldn't consider myself an actual masochist and i'm definitely not into bdsm type shit but i do somewhat enjoy small amounts of pains that don't leave any marks, bruises, cuts, blood, etc. and while i don't usually wax i do enjoy putting stickers on my body hair and leaving them for a while and then pulling them really fast and really hard to pull out my hair. sometimes i'll even put glue on my body hair and then just yank them

Ideal male body is such a huge range that it doesn't matter.
Body hair, as well as muscle, is a sign of sexual maturity and a sexually dimorphic trait.
Of course having some body hair is attractive to women.
>>
>>18742186
>Body hair, as well as muscle, is a sign of sexual maturity and a sexually dimorphic trait.
It's funny because though shaved/waxed body hair is considered feminine a hairless body puts emphasis on traits that are NOT feminine. Being hairless allows to see the muscles as best as possible. Similar to why bodybuilders usually shave. And no facial hair can put extra emphasis on a chiseled jaw. Though for all of this to work with a hairless look you have to be in excellent shape to begin with. If you're an average joe or fat or skinny it's better to just keep body hair and facial hair.

Women are usually not as into it as gay guys are. A lot of women like hairy men sure but gay guys are the ones who are absolutely obsessed with it.
>>
>>18697665
If it makes you feel any better I'm as hairy as the guy on the right, perhaps even slightly more than that and I've always been really hairy for my age since I was like 10 and I've never at any point in my life had any success with women. Meanwhile I see guys who are as hairless as the guy on the left having a lot of success with women.
I don't think me being hairy is the reason for my lack of success with women. It's most likely because I'm just generally ugly with a socially awkward personality and no impressive achievements of any kind but the point is being hairless is not nearly the death sentence you're making it out to be and might even be preferred to a lot of women.
And for any other hairy guys reading this if it matters, yes I've seen hairy guys have success with women too so being hairy is not a big thing either. I'm just not a sexy guy in the eyes of women by my hairiness is not necessarily the issue if at all.

Lucky. I've waxed my facial hair once or twice because I hate how facial hair looks on me. I have really nice naturally smooth skin with no acne or scars or even moles that even women are jealous of and I hate how facial hair covers that. I have waxed my legs before so I thought no biggie. But then I waxed my face and it hurt like hell AND my face was only smooth for 2 days...when I shave it's smooth for 1 day with waxing apparently it's only smooth for 2. And on top of that I got these weird boils on my face which looked like ready to pop pimples but weren't. I think it's called "folliculitis" according to a Google search. Went away fast but it looked super ugly. Never waxing my face again. It's either shaving or laser hair removal for me.
>>
>>18745716
>I have really nice naturally smooth skin with no acne or scars or even moles that even women are jealous of
This will always be ironic to me. Women work their ass off trying thousands of different skincare routines trying to get their skin smooth meanwhile men don't change pillowcases for like a month, touch their faces immediately after eating some super greasy pizza without having washed their hands, use a regular bar of soap on their face, rarely if ever wear sunscreen, etc. whatever basically never taking care of their skin and just doing whatever and somehow men's skin is smooth without even trying despite all that.

>>18747319
I wouldn't say it's that at all. It's more of a 50/50 sort of thing. I'd say people in general these days are more open minded about different body types than ever before so it's not too hard to find your people. Also depends on your culture and where you live. Either way it's not as nearly as big a deal as OP and many others in this thread are making it out to be. Hairy as a gorilla or as smooth as a dolphin your people are out there. I’m surprised this bait thread is still going. I’d left /fa/ for a year and this is still being bumped. Body hair is personal preference. Most women don’t prefer it, but most women also don’t mind it (up to a certain point). Culture plays a heavy role. Many women are “disgusted” by foreskin, but those are American women who were socialized to be disgusted by it. Most women outside of the USA don’t even consider foreskin because the natural hog is the default and circumcision isn’t even culturally relevant. Body hair is the same way. The only people repulsed by it generally come from a country that shaves and/or an ethnic group with little body hair. I think it looks good either way, but I’m biased towards thick dark body hair because I like middle eastern men. It makes olive skin glow. Contrary, blonde makes me think of my German dad. Ick.
>TLDR; boy tits are boy tits. Pic rel.

I'm not sure it's a bait thread sounds more like a loser who is self-conscious about his body. Sounds like where he lives hairy is preferred while in other places it's the opposite.

As a hairy guy I would say that body hair is not at all important. Some women strongly prefer it and some (probably slightly larger group) dislike it. Most don't really mind, or will be into it depending on how otherwise attractive you are. I trim my chest and stomach and try to keep my shoulders and back relatively clear. Too much grooming seems a bit gay, and on the other hand being ostentatious about your torso hair is also kind of ridiculous. I kind of like the women who like body hair though, so not a problem

From my experience the only women that like hairy guys with full beards are over the age of 35, 20 something women like shave boy face. Gays will like anything, they are that disgusting.
>>
>>18747804
I'm 18 and I shave everything and I've never had any women I've been with complain. If anything they were more jealous that my legs were smoother than theirs and asked for my skincare routine.
>>

I mean to be fair most guys your age don't have a lot of body hair and facial hair naturally anyway with some exceptions of course depending on their genetics, race, ethnicity, etc. Usually guys only start getting really hairy at like age 30+. I'm a White 35 year old American and at 18 I was almost hairless and only got slightly hairier in my 20s but then in my 30s in the past 5 years or so I suddenly got super hairy...and bald too lol.

At an older age though I imagine women won't be so stoked on your hairlessness anymore. At your age since men are usually less hairy they might not even assume you shave they might assume you're naturally hairless. But the hairless look will definitely be undesirable once you get to your 30s as men in their 30s are expected to be super hairy.

I never used to be insecure about this but anecdotally I've been seeing more and more men showing off their body hair or at least not trying to hide it, lots of guys in public with very visible chest hair, armpit hair, and back hair and women all talking about how much they love it and prefer it over hairless men and I'm just here with my naturally minimal body hair like...*sweating nervously.* Does this mean I have to be super hairy too alongside being tall and rich with a big penis? Another requirement women want of men?
And I'm surprised at the amount of hairy men I'm seeing because I thought the majority just didn't have a lot of body hair just like I don't. Does that mean all these guys have been shaving and just stopped or just covering up and I'm in the minority after all?
I wouldn't say I'm nearly as insecure about this as you seem to be. It's nothing like "my single biggest insecurity" or being afraid of taking off my shirt in front of others but I do kinda see where you're coming from just in general even if not as extreme.

body and facial hair is gross af
>>
>>18749786
I don't know if I'd call it "gross" because hair itself isn't dirty unless you're unhygienic to begin with but I do still hate body and facial hair. I prefer for myself and my partners to be smooth. I live somewhere hot and humid so being smooth also helps with that. Being smooth I can just feel the air and sunlight so much more. And there is just a satisfying feeling of being naked while smooth and cuddling with another naked person who is also smooth. I can't even describe it but the overload of so much smooth silky softness against each other is just otherworldly.

>I don't know if I'd call it "gross" because hair itself isn't dirty unless you're unhygienic to begin with
You're completely correct but there is a correlation. The most unhygienic people have all been super hairy, especially guys with huge beards who don't take care of them and you could literally see huge food crumbs in their massive beards. Meanwhile I've never met an unhygienic person who shaves. And it makes sense too because if you're a dirty person who rarely showers why would you shave anything? In the opposite direction I have met a lot of hairy clean people but never a dirty person who shaved. So the correlation is there that shaved people are always clean while hairy people could be clean OR dirty.

body hair is only for women, no gay guy wants body hair unless it's a feminine twink gay who is basically a woman. in fact the uglier you are the more you should use hair to cover everything up.
>>
>>18749854
I don't know anything about what gay men like but if we're talking body hair for both men and women then
>in fact the uglier you are the more you should use hair to cover everything up.
I think this should apply to women too. If I see a 300+ pound American woman full of stretch marks and cellulite I don't exactly wanna see more of her fat, jiggly, loose sweaty skin. In fact I think she should even invest in stuff like minoxidil, hair transplants, and testosterone so she can get really hairy and cover up her gross flabby skin as much as possible.

Me and my boyfriend are super hairy naturally and we wear short shorts a lot and we wax our legs smooth because in our opinion big hairy thighs on display in public is just not an attractive look. I'm aware a lot of people like the hairy look but we don't. I don't judge other people for it but for me personally displaying hairy thighs in public just feels indecent and my boyfriend is the same.

Me and my boyfriend would prefer to just be naturally smooth because the hairy look just doesn't look good on us and just feels like it's obscuring our beautiful naturally smooth skin with no scars or marks. If we could get rid of every single hair except for the hair on our heads, our eyebrows, and our eyelashes we 100% would.
>>
>>18752393
so you're both twinks or femboys?
>>
>>18752400
Well no but not super masculine either. We're a combination of feminine and masculine. In terms of dress and physical appearance outside of the short shorts and smooth legs we just look like any other average guy. We act like most average straight guys but are just simply not afraid of feminine things like a lot of straight guys are. We don't care about gender labels.

I have a few hairs around my nipples and exactly two strands of hair in the middle of my chest. I try to cherish them as much as I can but the girlfriend just loves to pluck out my hairs when no one's looking. Doesn't take long either because the nipple hairs combined with the middle of the chest hair only gives me exactly 8 strands of hair total. D: And the girlfriend is really fast and sneaky about it too. ;-;

Super hairy men like the right pic for some reason make me super uncomfortable. I know it's just a me problem and there's nothing wrong with hairy men but it still just makes me uncomfortable. Maybe because it reminds me of a really weird uncle from my dad's side that I had growing up. For some reason he was by far my hairiest family member, even hairier than the guy in the pic despite the rest of my family not having a lot of body hair. He didn't sexually abuse me or anything but I was still afraid to be left alone with him.
And then I hear some people are actually really into hairy men and I'm just like...really? Different tastes I guess but I do not find hairy men attractive in the slightest, and I'm pansexual.

you are severely overestimating the amount of men with chest hair
idk im not white but ive never heard of being a hairy ass neanderthal being the body standard
if anything its the opposite

I'm pretty hairy but I shave my chest and balls. It's just too annoying in the summer heat and makes my skin break out into rashes on really humid days. I'm 186cm, 110kg and lift, I hate being hairy and wish I had the balls to pull the trigger on electrolysis or something.
>>
>>18697665
Having a hairy chest/stomach/pubes is fine it just needs to be maintained. Most men who have body hair like the right don't don't actually maintain it enough to be hygenic (unless they're gay but even then there is outliers)

A guy with maintained body hair is a green flag, it means they're hygenic and aware of their appearance IMO
>>

>you are severely overestimating the amount of men with chest hair
Depends on race or ethnicity. An Indian woman for example has more hair under her armpits alone than most non-Indian men have on their whole bodies. However Native American men have basically no body hair from the neck down. It's almost like a Slip 'N Slide. Most non-Native American women have more hairs in their nose than Native American men do on their whole bodies.

True from my experience. The other day in public I saw a group of 5 or 6 young women around that age whispering to themselves and giggling about two middle aged guys nearby in short shorts and super hairy thighs. They were talking about how it's so gross and how it's stupid that they shave everything to be silky smooth to be attractive and sexy (all of them were in short shorts and tank tops and had no body hair if it matters) meanwhile men don't shave anything and they wish men would shave because they find the smooth look sexier than the hairy look. And one of them mentioned how her boyfriend waxes everything and the others were so jealous of her.
>>
>>18755399
Wow are you serious? I feel old as fuck for saying "back in my day" but either way back in my way it was the complete and total opposite. Young women were all over hairy men and hairless men or men who shaved were referred to as faggots. I guess trends really are cyclical.
>>
>>18755403
>I guess trends really are cyclical.
Yeah that's literally all it is. The thing is that younger generations have different ideas of what's attractive or not compared to their parents' ideas. If their parents find a certain thing attractive the younger generation will find that certain thing unattractive and vice versa and so on and so forth. As it is the parents prefer hairy and the younger generation prefers smooth but when the younger generation gets old the generation after them will go back to hairy and then when THAT generation gets old the generation after that will go back to smooth and it'll just never end.

where i live it's completely different. gen z has brought back hairy bodies with gusto, especially within artistic circles. at the gym as well i used to rarely see body hair but now almost every day i see guys in tank tops with a ton of chest hair and armpit hair peeking out as they exercise. kinda gross if you ask me but then again i'm not into men in general so i don't know what makes a man attractive or not
