Only top note impressions, but the Mixte opens as a very short lived, bright, airy, citrus blast with some minor mint elements. After just a few minutes most of the sweet citrus elements fade leaving the considerably more tart grapefruit. The d’ete had an equally short lived bright, citrus top note that vanished into a surprisingly restrained, minutely sweet, cinnamon note. I have always wanted a pleasant, sweet cinnamon frag but Z-14 was all soap to my nose. This on the other hand, while lighter than I would hope for, is otherwise exactly what I was looking for.
