How should one feel about Leather Creases?
>>
Leather creases and rolls, there is nothing to feel about it.
>>
why do you mirror shine just the tip? it makes sense with cap toes, because you have a logical border where you stop the polishing, but without the cap I think you should have shined at least to the part where the laces get attached and a little bit on the side

You stop before where the shoe creases because that will just flake off the wax. Cap toe is usually reinforced slightly so it's obvious the shoe should crease after it.
>>
Use shoe trees and you'll only get minimal creasing.

shoe trees are to prevent the shape from collapsing
>>

The main reason is because the toecap is rigid so the polish doesn't crack.
But the other reason is that it's a flex. The toe cap is the part of the shoe that gets dirty first so to have it be immaculately polished shows you're just that much in control of things. It's the shoe equivelant of cutting garden hedges into perfectly geometrical shapes

Leather creases, deal with it. If you don't like it then don't wear leather. It's that simple
>>

Fucking retard. Reddit is constantly parroting this nonsense
Shoe trees do absolutely nothing whatsoever to prevent the leather creasing as your foot flexes with each step. They do nothing whatsoever to prevent creasing
All they do is absorb moisture after wear and keep the shape when not worn. They don't prevent or eliminate creases
>>
by not using the shoes for walking, but only for posing in pictures, they will stay in better shape
>>

What do you think happens to the creases if they are not straightened out and allowed to be moist?
>>
>>18710123
Nothing because once they're there they're not going away
All shoe trees do nothing the second you take them out
>>
>>18710129
t. troll
>>
>>18710131
lmao okay
>>
>>18710129
I've used shoe trees for the past 5 years and my shoes have not creased nearly as much since then.
>>
>>18710136
Because the creasing already happened
