How should one feel about Leather Creases?
Leather creases and rolls, there is nothing to feel about it.
why do you mirror shine just the tip? it makes sense with cap toes, because you have a logical border where you stop the polishing, but without the cap I think you should have shined at least to the part where the laces get attached and a little bit on the side

Use shoe trees and you'll only get minimal creasing.

The toe cap is the part of the shoe that gets dirty first so to have it be immaculately polished shows you're just that much in control of things. It's the shoe equivelant of cutting garden hedges into perfectly geometrical shapes
