At what point or age should you just give up on fashion and dress like everybody else? Because this shit is just downright embarrassing.
>>
every single post of an asian dude on here looks as if he rode the short bus to zara.
>>
>>18710271
What exactly is dressing like everyone else? Sweatpants and a sweater? Gym clothing and flip flops? In America people only dress like subhuman slobs or prostitutes.
>>
>>18710274
You do realize he's wearing CDG right? Why are you faggots even on this board if you have zero interest in real fashion?
>>
>>18710271
He's not even an unc no more but a full on grandpa. A guy that age indulging in a gay hobby like fashion (in the gayest way possible) is really cringe. At that age he should be playing with his grand kids and teaching them about fashion, not make sad try-on videos wearing goofy costumes.
>>
>>18710280
>brand name = stylish
NTA but just mindlessly stacking as many pieces from the same designer as possible does not mean you look good. This guy is getting swallowed by cartoonish clothes he does not have the frame or confidence to pull off, he is being absolutely overwhelmed and looks like a salesman coerced him into buying an entire CDG window display.

lol

those glasses make him look like a ww2 carchature

>I can conclude I have an addiction to watching huge smelly turds that leave chink gaping assholes

>proceeds to ask a whole board X question based on such premise

>only 45
For one, 45 is not "only". That's beyond midlife. And despite being 45 he has the skin, posture and aura of a 65 year old.

>>18710851
Fashion is for fit and attractive people. 90% of fashion is your body and personality. Clothes are just a paint job that accentuate them. That's why models and supermodels are all young, fit and beautiful. If you don't have youth on your side, then the least you need is fitness. Low energy grandpa looking uncs who look like they have one foot in the grave like him, need not apply.

Why are all the best designers old males?

Genuinely one of the most impressive fits posted here in recent memory. Did you think you were doing something with this thread, Rabs?

>The 1995 "Sleep" collection consisted of striped pajamas "bearing prints of identification numbers and marks of military boot prints." Contemporaneous media coverage juxtaposed images of the collection with images taken at Auschwitz concentration camp, and the controversy received international coverage. The World Jewish Congress condemned the collection, and fashion critic Suzy Menkes called the collection "'Auschwitz' fashions." Kawakubo responded that the collection had been "completely misunderstood" and the controversy made her "very sad."
Reminder that this is why there’s been an uptick in anti-cdg rabbi posting recently.

That’s a rough 45. I thought Asians were supposed to age better?

Just because you can sculpt the Statue of David, doesn't mean you're as handsome and jacked as David.
>>
>>18710271
Never, also please feel free to explain why you think the fit is bad. It's okay if you can't by the way.
>>
>>18710999
Again, it's not the fit. It's the guy. You /fa/ggots do realize that clothes are just an expression of who you are, right? If they don't align with your body, personality and lifestyle, then they'll just look like a weird costume. It's like a skinny crippled guy with asthma dressing up as a firefighter. When it looks like the clothes are wearing you, it's time to stop. Not everything will look good on you, even if you're a supermodel.
>b-b-but I wants to subvert le expectashions
Sure, you can be a subversive rat all you want, but you'll still look like shit.

I wear workwear and military style even though I'm a NEET
>>
>>18711308
Working hard hardly working.
>>
>>18711308
Son, did you miss the other criteria I talked about? Your lifestyle isn't the only factor. And most people are laughing at you and think you're a larping retard for walking around in military outfits
.
Also, "workwear" is not a thing. Only unemployed r*dditors and limp-wristed zoomers think it's something special and treat it like a costume. Most people with a job and a life wear some form of "workwear" (like denim, boots, canvas jackets, cargo pants etc) on a regular basis because they are practical pieces of garment. The same way the entire world has been wearing jeans for decades and nobody thinks it's "workwear" anymore.
>>
>>18710271
what's downright embarrasing is this idea that after a certain age you should stop doing something that you like doing. would you tell someone that likes painting that after 40 he should stop? it's just that your idea about fashion stoped at style and dressing in order to attract a certain atention to you and coping that it reflects your personality.

>>18711304
wrong, clothes are not just an expression of who you are. fashion is a form of art, and in any form of art there are certain conventions that you must learn about in order to understand that piece of art. for example in order to understand picasso's or braque's paintings you need to learn that those paintings are part of the artistic movement called cubism wich has certain conventions that you also must know about like how the emphasis is on structure and composition rather than realistic representation. If you don't then those paintings are nothing more than just some silly scribles. fashion is the same.

>>18710291
And who do you think designs all the cool clothing? some 20y/o rapper that sels ripped jeans, graphic tees and a nike collab?

you mean the shitty jacket you've had since college?

>fashion is a form of art
And art is an expression of your imagination and thoughts. Picasso's paintings are his way of self-expression. And you buy or appreciate his paintings because they resonate with you. Same goes for clothes. You wear scene, goth, hipster, skater or whatever style of clothes because they resonate with you and you also need to have the right body, face and attitude to go with them, or else it'll look like some skinny fat manlet wearing a greaser outfit. It will look like a costume, rather than your own clothes.

Also, are you actually comparing a painting to clothes? Your body isn't a fucking blank wall. The primary purpose of clothes is for them to look good on you. Nothing else matters if they don't. You could wear the most niche designer outfit, but if you can't pull it off, then you will look like shit and also make the outfit look like shit by association. It's like people no longer understand the basic concept of wearing clothes that suit you.

>And who do you think designs all the cool clothing?
Again, just because you designed something doesn't mean you will look good in it. That's why designers use models. They don't walk on the ramp wearing their own creations because they know they'll look like shit wearing them.

>It's like people no longer understand the basic concept of wearing clothes that suit you.

what do you wear?
>>
>>18711577
Wearing clothes that actually look good on you, not clothes that you like and feel like wearing. Not every style, color, pattern looks good on everyone. Some things work best for a certain body type, skin color, face and age group.
