I've been injecting GHK-CU 2mg almost every day for about two months and don't think I really notice much of a difference. Mayyybe.. But Idk. Will keep it up for another 2 months at least. Might also start tretinoin

I finally received my first tube of tretinoin, and im actually kind of terrified of using it. How bad was the purge for you guys? How many of you didn't experience a purge at all? Approximately how far away from my eyes do I need to keep my tret application? like can i apply it to my unibrow area or is that too close?
>>
You women are lucky you don't have to regularly shave your face. I know all the techniques and tricks. hot water/steam, shaving cream, safety razor, cartridge, electric. Doesn't matter. It'll never be perfect. Shaving is just inherently irritating to the skin.

Why was this product hidden from me my entire life? Game changer.
>>
>>18715574
tret is actually so easy, why did noone ever tell me?
just dont layer it. just dont mix it.

I used to have dark circles and they are barely visible now

which eye cream?
>>

really? your skin isnt melting off, catching fire, becoming grotesque with purging, etc?
>>
>>18716352
I experienced redness, small breakouts and skin wouldnt accept anything, no lotion, serum, nothing. it was dry but would get irritated if i applied the lightest lotion.
stopped mixing or layering tret and all issues disappeared.
>>
>>18716382
How long have you been taking it? People make it sound so fucking scary, but even the issues that mentioned disappeared don't sound that bad. If I ever stop being a bitch I'll try just applying it directly, tho.
>>
>>18716386
weeks, the redness lasted months.
no redness when I rawdog it
>>
>>18716310
Same with taz
>>
>>18716248
Is the game changer that it comes in a spray bottle or something else?
>>
>>18716427
That's a big part of it, also it just sinks in really easily without any residue.
>>
>>18716425

>>
>>18716558
nvm its not available in EU

does anyone have any lotion recommendations?
ive been using the basic one from Greek, its the only one my tret skin likes atm. the basic cerave lotion that always worked (the one with the pump) gets rejected. the more basic oily ones get rejected too.

also I need a fcking sunscreen...
>>
I realize all sunscreens contain some sort of polymer/acryl-whatever xantham gum plastic shit.
>>
>>18716135
wdym? injecting it leads to more production of collagen. i think thats well known
>>
>>18716310
which concentration do you use? i have 6 tubes of .05% and have been holding off bc i have too much shit to do this summer for the "break out" phase or whatever
>>
>>18716629
0.05%
mind you ive been trying to use it for like 2 years on and off now tho but Im still fairly sure the layering is what caused the irritation for me.

I suggest you at least do one trial of
>light moisturizer
>1h wait
>apply vaseline around eyes and on lips for protection
>apply tret
and see where it takes you instead of holding off. you should be fine

PS: eating less and avoiding lots of sugar and not eating 5h before bed /intermittent fasting are mandatory. in other words dont bother with cosmetics if you dont got the basics nailed down
>>

>>apply vaseline around eyes and on lips for protection
nta but damn niggy that's a nice tip. never would have thought of that.

same with the layering. apparently the official instructions state to rawdog it as well.

I started using tret again about a month and a half ago after not using it for a year. My og prescription was costing too much so I switched to grey pharmas. I'm using .05 now instead of .025 and I had a pretty rough purging period about three weeks in. I didn't have much acne prior to starting tret mostly just pih. I experienced rough breakouts and severe dryness/peeling along my jawline but it ultimately subsided after a couple weeks. I haven't had any major breakouts since then and I'm currently using it five times a week and still working towards using it nightly.

I personally put tret in my eyebrows. It's more about getting it on the skin underneath. Do not use it on your actual upper or lower eyes. The skin is too thin to handle it. Just follow the natural shape of your face and you should be good. If you want to play it safe, try applying moisturizer around your eyes before applying tret (provided your moisturizer is neutral enough to apply around the eyes. I use the big cerave tub.) I actually made the mistake of getting some tret on my upper eyelid and I'm currently dealing with a slight burning sensation whenever I apply moisturizer to the area. It'll get better though. I need to be more cautious.

>>
>>18718132
how is a cleansing oil breaking you out...? you're meant to wash it off afterwards. you don't need to use an oil based cleanser, btw, any old cleanser will work
>>
>>18719725
the OP recommends cerave foam cleanser which uses ceramides. ceramides can cause irritation tho.
>>
>>18719727
i suppose. also with oil cleansers you need to make sure the oil is properly emulsified through rubbing with wet hands before you rinse otherwise you might have oil residual left on your face but for someone who's breaking out it's safer to just not use them
>>
>>18719741
yes but your "any cleanser" advice is also bullshit.
recommend a simple foam cleanser that doesnt have actives.

I know fully well how to use an oil cleanser. Yes, I am following up with a second cleanser to remove the oil after emulsifying it by adding water. I'm 90% sure I'm sensitive to grapeseed or some other shit which is annoying because thats in so many cleansing oils. I cant just use a cleanser on a face with sunscreen on it. It's not enough and it breaks me out.
>>
>>18720672
there's a myth you see on online where you need an oil cleanser to remove oil based products like water proof sunscreen so i didn't know if that's why you were only attempting to use oil cleansers despite them breaking you out. eucerin hydrating cleansing gel has a minimal ingredients list if you want to try that. if you need more cleansing power you can double cleanse with the same cleanser until you've identified the problem

Cerave Moisturizing Creamâ„¢ is the only """moisturizer""" I've used that doesn't leave my face dry, red, and stinging after a week of daily usage kek. Well, that and neutrogena hydrogel or w/e it's called, but that shit is expensive for a moisturizer and left my face looking overly wet without actually feeling moisturized. No idea what that was about.

My routine at 40:

Morning - wash face with shampoo in the shower

Throughout the day - wash face with cerave anti-oil shit 4-5 times

1 (when lazy) to 5 (when I have the capacity to remember) days of the week use tret or more recently tazarotene on the face, wash away after 3 hours or so

It's that simple.

The current routine is
>moisturiser
>ice roller
>vit c serum
>low% hyaluronic face cream
>8hrs of sleep

I mean, the skin around my nose is reddish, around the eyes darkish and the rest of my face has random "brithmark like" brown spots all over.
>>
Any gentler than salicylic acid face cleanser but still can pull out the stubborn black head gunk and normal oily shit? Seems like my pores just get refilled by oil right after washing but yeah, the skin is cleansed. I cant really try those giga ingredients korean stuff since I have seb derm/psoriasis on my facial area, niacinimide especially they just irritate and any scratching gonna get me reddish pigmentation which takes too long to disappear or they just turned into a patch of skin darker or whiter than its surrounding.
>>
>>18729597
>random "brithmark like" brown spots all over
sounds like melasma. in that case it would be hydroquinone. vit c can help some but not nearly as good.
>skin around my nose is reddish
this could be compromised skin barrier and irritation. a barrier cream could help. i personally like lrp cicaplast balm, but there are others.
>>
>>18729671
>gentler than salicylic acid face cleanser
have you tried only using it periodically, like every 3 days, and using a normal cleanser other times?
Laminaria Ampoule Cleansing Foam is popular for the skin you're describing, but i couldn't use it because it broke me out :(
>>

Yea, I did wait but didnt really wash my face using anything else, just water (filtered) since anything other than basic vaseline or mct oil will irritate it more and grow those seb derm/psoriasis scale.Im pretty much using water now but yeah, pretty hard to get those gunk outta the pores, just massaging my face with water for now.
