Seriously, how do you style your hair like this?I've tried countless waxes and it just never stays fixed. If I just look down, everythings falls apart. Is this about the right product or the way you apply it?
>>18716024That is a staged portrait. His hair only needs to look like that for long enough to get his picture taken
Good question.
>>18716024>Is this about the right product or the way you apply it?Yeah. Apply it from root to tip everywhere on your hair. It's not scientific, but the more thoroughly distributed it is, the more reliably it'll hold. A common mistake is thinking the product just magically works. You basically have to use it like shampoo and apply it everywhere in your hair.I don't know what exact products they used for this hair style, but hair tonics, strong pomades and such were widely used back then.Strong hair gel will absolutely work, but it'll most likely make your hair look like a plastic helmet. The best bet is probably oil-based pomade. Back then they were made of animal fat and fruit peels, but nowadays they're plant-based and probably weaker. You'd probably need to add some hair spray to keep the hair in place properly. Now imagine either going through that whole process every morning, or alternatively sleeping with all that shit in your hair.
>>18716024Put a shit load of coconut oil in your hair.
castor oil if you have aryan hair
.>>18716024>>18716231This anon is right, you need a strong hold pomade. Ive never used the stuff but ive researched why people all had hair like this in old photographs. It was fashionable snd modern it turned out to have slick back shiny hair completely a coincidence cameras were being used at the same time.Pic related should be what you need.
