Why is bootcut popular when it was never a thing in the past?
>>18717559Yes, it was.
>>18717559They were enormously popular in the early 2000s
>>18717559boot cuts were super popular between 90s/y2k baggy and skinny fit going mainstream.
also this means skinny fit is about to go back in styleif the ozempic trend didnt make it obviousthe trend cycle is faster than the old 20 year rule because of internet/social media/ultrafast fashion
>>18717657But why would they want skinny back? Shit looks terrible.
>>18717559the correct chart would have bootcut between baggy and skinny and straight fit would be in the center of the circle because its evergreen and never explicitly trendy but never not trendy, for men. straight fit doesn't look good on a lot of female body types -- the evergreen jeans fit for them is looking in a mirror and being realistic about which one's best for their body shape. men have less variance in that regard and straight cut looks good on pmuch every guy.>>18717703i didn't say i want it to come back, so much as that it will inevitably come back because thats how things work.i agree it looks terrible on everyone except twink gods and skinny girls. it should never be part of the trend cycle because it results in a bunch of people wearing it who shouldn't. skinny fit should be an agnostic one like straight fit and only skinny guys/gals should wear them.
>>18717559Yes it was. Bootcut was popular throughout the 2000s. Nobody besides niggers and wiggers wore baggy in the 2000s. In the mainstream it was just bootcuts and relaxed fit across the world, because being a wigger was cringe and low class back then. But of course you'd think wide pants were the mainstream in the 2000s because most of zoomer fashion and culture is wigger culture.
Women especially wore bootcuts exclusively right until the late 2000s.
BTW the shit labeled as bootcut in OP is cowboy cut. That's not what bootcut looks like. Bootcut is slimmer in the thighs and flared below the knees. Cowboy cut are more like slim straight and the flare in them is a lot more subtle.
>>18717559Literally everyone was wearing bootcut and carpenter jeans in the late 90's. Everyone.
>>18717559A lady gave me boot cut pants I like high waisted pants
>>18717703obesity speaks
>>18717559That picture is completely retarded
>>18717703The same reason why people don't like eating the same dish every single day. They get bored of it. So something like skinny fit looks fresh and bold when everyone else is wearing baggy slop. But skinny jeans look good on women and only women. Men should stick to straight cuts unless they want to look like trannies with feminine thighs.
>>18718699this. and you could use the hammer loop to hold up your pants while saggin
Bell bottoms master race.
Bootcut looks too Gen-X for me. Makes me think of all the dotcom techies who listened to Nirvana.
>>18718749And the problem is?
>>18718752>looks too Gen-X to me
>>18718763Again, the problem is? You live in a boomer and GenX world, sweetheart. Who do you think created all the fashion trends of the past 20 years? Nothing millennials and zoomers wear is their own. Everything is boomer and GenX. Baggy clothes? GenX during the late 90s and early 2000s. Skinny jeans? Boomers did it way before millennial emo faggots in the 60s and 70s. Denim and fades? Have been around longer than every human alive today. Plastic clothes? Have been around since the 60s. Athletic clothes, sweatpants and hoodies? Since the 80s. So name a single thing you wear that isn't GenX or boomer.
>>18718801This board really is full of bitter old men.
>>18718731It doesn’t even look good on women. Spacious and roomy clothes are inherently womanly.
>>18718809I think you might be retarded. And gay.
>>18718807I'm neither old nor bitter. What I'm against is the retarded mindset of "old bad new good".
>>18718814>What I'm against is the retarded mindset of "old bad new good"Literally no one has that mindset, in fact it's quite the opposite. I guess that you're so out of touch and so obviously projecting you seem to have missed the predominance of throwback culture. Some of us are bored of your neolithic, plastic, hormone disrupting kike-rags. These overused and recycled throwback trends are keeping us in the past. You old-fucks-who-contribute-nothing-and-are-living-too-long endlessly hoard and parasite off the resources meant for the younger generations whilst constantly jerking each other off about some banal thing one of you did a gazillion quadrillion years ago. You're living in the past because you miss being the center of attention. It's time that you replicate your more generous counterparts and give that same attention and education to the younger generation. If anything the jean fad just made us all look a bunch of identical and retarded ape-like low-class slaves. If someone saw this shit from a different planet they'd think we're fucking idiots. And we are. We used to have some seriously evolved drip waayyyy before your time buddy. What the fuck is this peasantry you're bragging about? I can tell you what it is. Money getting into the hands of "people" with poor taste, no brains, and a lack of knowledge or respect for other people and history. Humanity has already repeatedly "invented" the concept of shapely pants, documented and undocumented. We are much more evolved than you think. You're just diluted by retarded genetic mutants who think they did something different or new when it's literally just a plot to sell you an undersized cancerous plastic rag cut into different shapes. Fucking old and bitter codger. You are in fact the retard. Go outside.
>>18718813Cope. Retardest of retardeds.
>>18718809No. All women should wear spandex catsuits
