My feathers are running low, are there any alternatives or should I stick with them?I have a safety to shave, and a shavette to line up beard and hair.
>>18724604are you black?
>>18724604If something works for you, don't change it. Sure Feathers are more expensive and less durable than most other blades, but the cost is truly negligible in the long run. Buy in bulk and they end up costing like 25 cents per blade.
>>18724607>blackno, cant say i am.>>18724608yeah suppose youre right, its just that feather are a little more expensive than others. i heard good things about Nacet
Unironically I used feathers for many many years. I’ve been using these for the past two and found them just as good as feathers and I’ve tried almost all commercially available DE razorblades. Wilkinson swords are just as good imo.
same here although the lack of durability is a bummer, its always 3 shaves tops for me. the annoying wax dots also seem to have gotten larger for some reason. ill keep using them tho as theyre the only blades without a polymer coating afaik
>>18724604I've never had a problem with astra blades
>>18724604This nigga black
buy cheapest amazon brand chinesium blades and a leather strop. every razor is blasted out on a grinding wheel, feather or anything else. 20 seconds touching up the edge you will get a better blade than anything out of the box.
