What is the difference between something that is form fitting and something that fits? I have worn XL T-shirts for pretty much whole life(live in the USA). However, a friend awhile back told me I could probably get away with wearing size L for shirts and it would look nice because I have well built arms. So I tried that one time, it felt a little tight and a little annoying. However, I did actually get one compliment from a woman coworker. She said I was looking pretty broad in the shoulders. I actually did feel good after that. So what size should I really be wearing? I never wore size L because I felt it was maybe too small but maybe I should be? I will say wearing XL has always been comforting to me and I don't think I look awful in them. But maybe L size looks better on me because I have large arms and shoulders? I guess the real question, how far down the arm should a "short sleeve" T-Shirt go?
>>18725042What fits: sleeves hit mid bicep, length fully covers belt (or even longer if meant for tucking), neck hole not loose, shoulder seam not riding traps. What is form fitting: all these and at the same time hugging your body
>>18725054Hmm.. so when I wear a large, the sleeves go just above my mid bicep. Is that bad or not really? Basically, I don't want to wear a shirt and have people think I am trying to look big when I am not. However, I do want to look nice and presentable I guess.
