Is it possible to look /fa/ and be protected from the sun if you live in a high uv index city?
>>18727001Just wear sunscreen, zinc oxide.
>>18727001Yeah, just follow rule 1 and 2.
>>18727001Asia is the only place I've seen people take this seriously. The girls had parasols and wore flowy dresses, the guys had breezy pants and light breathable long sleeves over an undershirt to stay covered. In the West your best option is to go all in on sunscreen. People don't know how to dress for heat and they're going to act like you're the weird one for wearing anything other than shorts and short sleeves.
>>18727144it's weird how we get summer every year but we don't learn how to dress for it
Yes
>>18727210Americans just go from air conditioned building to air conditioned car to air conditioned building, so I guess people never think about it. But if you see a bunch of Mexicans working on a roof or doing yard work look at what they're wearing. Long sleeves, often even hoodies in the middle of summer. They work in the sun all day so they know the sun is the enemy.
>>18727001Yes.
>>18727001Hats sucks they make you sweat moreUV protection clothing looks like what kids who are born very ill wearSunscreen will fuck your hormonsThe final solution....The umbrella...Portable shade....I never went back
At best I reapply sunscreen every 4h (face and top of palms) and wear sunglasses and a bucket hat. Maybe avoid going out during hours where UV index is above 5.Been thinking about those 100% cotton UPF rated long sleeve tops (they have some coating) from Kersun.
>>18727144>Take the poison goyim. Save your skin while you destroy your organs. You're not needed in old age anyway.
>>18727001sorry, the price you pay for living in a hot weather country is that you have to dress like a giant child
>>18727001my grandfather looted one of these back in wwii and now it just sits in my closet calling to me like the green goblin masksomeday...
>>18727820Can you recommend any sunscreen brand that stays matte even if you sweat?I recently tried about a dozen different sunscreen types by La Roche-Posay, Nivea Sun, and others that are supposed to be matte, but they all look glossy once you sweat a little bit.
