/fa/pill me on tretinoin
>>18729382It's a commitment. You need to be already committed to have a day/night routine and to wear sunscreen EVERY SINGLE DAY.Night routine: tretinoin + hyalurionic night cream (otherwise you get rashes)Day routine: sunscreen (+ optional serum)
>>18729397Why sunscreen. I live in a cold area and never burn.
>>18729407For the zinc.
>>18729407tretinoin weakens your skin barrier, if you don't use sunscreen, it will age your skin 10x faster than if you didn't use tret.
>>18729407>>18729435ie your whole skin will look like that eye skin, you will age 10 times fasterhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Vc--a-AAW0tret is pretty much like a very slow chemical peel, you need to protect you skin with other creams over it (moisturizer during the night, moisturizer/sunscreen during the day)
I used tret / tazaroten for 4-5 years now, no sunscreen, got no damage. Occasionally at first I used to shed skin, but not anymore, even if I use daily.I don't see a difference, but I grew older in these years and you could barely tell so maybe it's working.
Do it dude. Been using for a month and I look noticeably better already, hiding some of my finer forehead lines. If you can't be fucked getting a prescription, find an online website with good reviews to import it from somewhere like India, and start off using once/twice a week, slowly building up tolerance until you can hit it every night. Just don't forget the sunscreen.
>>18729382That's a neurotoxin, even topically it can enter circulation. Headaches are the sign that it is working
I completely changed my diet and the improvement in skin quality was noticeable.
what do i do if i nought 0.1% tret gel instead of 0.01%, havent used it in a few years. should i just use a tiny bit once a week and work my way up or buy some weaker stuff?
>>187297850.1% retinol? retinoid? tretinoin? phramaceutical or not? And what's the adjuvent? Cream, squalane, granactive (...) ?
>>18729440Pretty much this. It’s best to not even use it on your eyelids unless you have blemishes or something. Neutrogena face wash was enough for the eyelids. However, with tretinoin, like this anon said, use other creams and moisturizers with it, or else it just acid burns you into a dry raisin. >Tretinoin at night right before bed>Hibiclens your face ONLY below cheekbones such as mouth and jawline>Hydrating face wash immediately after for that smooth, hydrated look>Shave with a lavender shower foam instead of shaving cream (trust me)Also, African black soap is an exfoliant without irritation.
