sneakers are played out. i stopped wearing them. lol the whole resell market crashed right after that jewish nike exec got caught backdooring sneakers to her reseller son. sneakers never had any hype it was money laundering.
>>
>>18731204
So what will you wear now? Loafers? Redwings?
>>
>>18731231
mocs, loafers, oxfords, sandals, whatever. not into boots off the jobsite. not into derbies. only sneakers left are a pair of converse to work out in and my running shoes (for running, not fashion)

you are worried about sneakers being played out but you are wearing these in the big two six? kek

you look young because you are a shut-in who spent his childhood indoors, not because your genes are superior.

That's not how you roll your sleeves. And you don't go above your elbows. If you're going to go that high then may as well wear a proper half sleeve button up shirt. And lose those ugly shoes. Wear something less chunky, like white low top converses or vans, or minimalist leather sneakers.
>>

Are there mass produced or similarly priced (I don't want fancy pantsy shoes for trashing) sneakers that have leather lining? Stan smith has leather lining I think but that's about it everything else just says "textile". Quince also has them and Clarks are they any good?
Bonus points if they are flat/zero drop
More bonus points if the sole is not just glued

>>
>>18731630
You don't roll like that because it looks ugly and amateurish, like you're not used to wearing buttoned shirts or rolling their sleeves. And you don't go above the elbows because it's uncomfortable, because all that bunched up fabric is restrictive when bending your forearm. It also makes your upper arms way too hot (from all that excess fabric), which defeats the purpose of rolling your sleeves.
>>
>>18731234
its okay to be gay
>>
No one cares, nigga.
No one cares.
>>
>>18731650
you can go above the elbow up to the shoulder if the sleeves are cut wide and the fabric isn't too thick. your thing about fabric bunching is only true of some shirts. you're right though, the in between area looks bad. cuff below the elbow, or all the way up to the shoulder if the shirt allows. the in between area looks bad usually. if you wanna have your sleeve there do a roll not a cuff.

my first DIY attempt and I'm not 100% sure what to think of it

I supposed it did switch up the colorway quite a bit but I'm a little frustrated on how it's more of a navy blue rather than a true black... I'm hoping letting it cure overnight and hitting it again tomorrow might darken up the nubuck some more... looks perfectly black when the dye is first applied, then lightens up substantially once soaked in
I don't HATE it, but I'm also hoping I can get it BLACK black..
also no clue what the little bright spot on the top of the left shoe is; it didn't want to accept the dye very easy
thanks God the stitching more or less accepted the dye though
pair on the left is another pair of the original shoes completely untouched for comparison
>>
File: IMG_3306.jpg (210 KB, 1179x658)
210 KB JPG
>>18734779
they did darken up a little bit more after a second pass although im not sure why the left shoe isn't responding as well to the dye as the right shoe
also I do kinda wish I at least had some painters tape to cover off the midsole a bit as it is getting staying slightly stained despite wiping it down between passes with an alcohol wipe (although I'm not sure how effective it would've been with how heavy handed I went with the dye)

I guess now I WILL let the dye cure overnight like I said I would and hit it again in the morning; hopefully managing to even out the color differential between the left and right pair as well...

it would seem the third pass after letting them cure overnight actually brightened them up a hair for some reason?
but at least the color differential between the left and right shoe more or less evened out
the darkest I can manage to get them is this dark navy blue which I GUESS is okay and dark enough for what I wanted, just not as dark as I was hoping for
maybe one more pass tonight...

Kinda need a sneaker refresh. What's the hot sneaker right now? I usually use Dunks or some NB2002r but my foot has been swelling up due to BJJ (so I can't use my dunks that much) and I'm just looking for more chunkers (black, panda, or a darker greyish). Looking for something on the comfier side but don't mind looking at more hype or higher end models.
I'm starting to pick up on a lot of the Adidas hype pieces but I can't find really any good Adidas shoes I like that matches the chunky side (Back when we had the Ye collabs I could've copped those but no more)

>>
>>18736770
>>18736773
while this is much better than your previous fit is there any particular reason why you're dead set on wearing both a T-shirt AND button-down long-sleeve (rolled to make it a short-ish sleeve)?
if your specifically looking for a loose summer fit, I would highly advice choosing one or the other to avoid looking like you just jumped into a big pile of clothes and decided to wear whatever stuck: better yet, ditch the long sleeve entirely and opt for a short-sleeve button down
as it sits, you just look like you're trying too hard to make the long-sleeve work and the execution comes out sloppy
>>
>>18736800
no, I don't give a enough of a shit to research what they're actually called; you get the idea that I'm portraying. I might not know what the specific scientific term is for a long-sleeve button-down but you get the idea, fuck off

thank you, im wearing a tank top not a whole shirt (too hot now for that). lol not a reason but i just like the versatility i guess, being able to unbutton it without exposing my chest. i should probably button more buttons at least to not show the tank top. someone else said in another thread i cant wear tartan and short sleeve so even though this isnt tartan i got a long sleeve shirt i liked since i had none anyway.
>ditch the long sleeve entirely and opt for a short-sleeve button down

they were both me funny guy
anyway, it's hard to gauge really but black is usually a universal color that looks good; since that's not the smartest options during hot summers I would focus on whites and more saturated pastels; lighter pastels are generally reserved for spring while darker colors are more for fall/winter. Think salmon, baby/sky blue, light grey; red and brown also work but they aren't exactly pastels: linen is a popular summer fabric so light tan/khaki/natural cotton is also a good color

as far as patterns go, any subtle repeating pattern is good: polka dots, paisley, raw linen. I tend to avoid patterns that are too structured like stripes and bars that tend to take over the design of the shirt rather than compliment it. These days, I'm more interested in patterns that are integrated into the fabric itself; like old school 80's mafia boss button-downs. Polos are good for this as well and are popular spring/summer wear; easy to toss one on and fell good/comfortable all day

NB does have some reliability for all day wear from firsthand experience (healthcare industry here) and while easy to find available and at a bargain where it took off around/after 2016 was because it became a go-to brand for people (mostly boomers) who claimed they were boycotting Nike for standing by Colin Kaepernick.

Btw, I'm a 10.5 in the 990 and 11 in these. They're wider than the 992. I got a fairly wide foot (I usually choose E or EE width when it comes to loafers and bluchers).

Normally I would agree however Italy hosts a couple of luxury outlets that are basically little towns entirely made of boutiques, this one was right outside Milan and had all sorts of luxury brands, Gucci, Prada, Loro Piana, Versace, Kiton, Yves Saint Lauren, Balenciaga... you name it.

They are 100% certified to only carry legit products and draw 500k people per month from all over the world, including super wealthy people. They operate on a whole different level.
