I cut my own hair, been mainly doing buzzcuts, are foil shavers a must?

If you have short stubble and need a quick shave to look somewhat decent, then go ahead.
I feel that both foil and triple head electric razors don't give me a great shave most of the time. I often do wet shaves with some nivea after shave and some alum block and i'm set.
