I've been looking and buying clothes again, despite trying to be away from this shit - I realized that there's too many brands that are doing genuinely cool items right now.Cheap jeans are amazing, every brand is doing workwear jackets that you had to spend months looking through vintage stuff to get.But people IRL still don't look good, even though there's so many nice things being sold (we went from 0.1% to 5% of things being sold new being really cool).Apparently, looking good is very loosely related to having the right item - it's about being a) physically able to support your style and having good characteristics and b) your entire outfit's coherence, the overall sauce if you will.Once you understand this, it's funny seeing people with too much disposable income for their own good look for the absolute best X that they will spend multiple hundreds to get, only to get mogged by someone wearing Levis/Wrangler/Lee/Whatever + fast fashion.
