>>18739044He's not paid to wear it, he just enjoys vintage watches from various brands.
>have what I'm pretty sure is a fake jeet made seiko>keeps time about as well as my real seiko 5
>>18739051That's 100% fake. I came close to buying one. $60 or $80, right? When I noticed they all came from India and were all "refurbished" in the fine print I knew it was a scam. I still got scammed buying a tank, but it's fine. Still a good watch. I know better now.
>>18739056I'm assuming that's what it was. I got it as a gift. the code on the back of the case brings up multiple reddit threads about getting scammed. I think the only thing that might not be gay and jeet about them is that some of them do use some seiko parts just because they are available. the day and date wheels on mine are 100% jeet made. The day is in english and jeet, but Sat isn't blue and the 28 on the date wheel looks like shit. There's also no caliber number on the dial, the lume lasts like 10 mins and I don't think seiko was still putting >japan madeon the dials when that model allegedly came out. on mine it looks like the sekio 5 logo and automatic are raised which is odd cause the fakes usually aren't

>>18739056>I still got scammed buying a tank, but it's fine.Did you buy the broken Tank with the caseback glued on?
>>18739067No, that post wasn’t me but I’m still here. Also I don’t even mind the movement is rusted and has water damage. Down the road I’ll buy a modern Tank Louis when I save up some.
>>18739067No, it’s one of these ones. eBay is full of them. You have to look for serial numbers at the bottom of the dial, which I did not know at the time.If you want a free one just buy it and then try to return it for fraud and they’ll probably just let you keep it and refund the money. But it’s a perfectly fine quartz dress watch. No one likes being scammed though.
>>18739067From a purely aesthetic perspective it looks fine and I have no regrets with buying it. It is still cool to have a genuine Cartier piece.
>>18739079You bought a broken plated ladies watch just because it has a brand name on it and you're happy with your purchase.
>>18739085Yeah I am good with it. I am more a classic literature and films type autist not a watch autist, and the Cartier watch is periphery to those interests of mine rather than being some kind of grail watch or what have you.Going in the only thing I knew about the Tank is that guys like Mastroianni wore it so that was my entire reason for wanting it.
>>18739087God dammit, dude!! You keep repeating the same script and you're all too happy to repeat it ANY time anyone inquires about that watch. And you're proud that you don't understand anything about watches and you don't even want another watch or that one to work. What the fuck are you doing here??
>>18739079>From a purely aesthetic perspective it looks fineNo it doesn't, you look ridiculous. And why are you wearing it over your wrist bone.
>>18739090All of this.
>>18739087Cool, I'm a telecom autistic myself, my phone is the original iPhone, I got it for its historical significance. Doesn't work or anything, but it's nice to carry it around with me.
>>18739090this >>18739087if this were true you’d understand why you look ridiculous
>>18739089I have lurked here for a while and only posted because I thought the guy spamming the AI pic (which legit did tick me off) and the hobo guy were the same person. The hobo guy apparently is an actual schizophrenic for which I feel sorry for him>>18739093Cool if you are being serious right now. If it works for you it's good.
>>18739096>guy spamming the AI pic (which legit did tick me off)You fucked my friend. Now he will never stop.
>>18739096I tried telling you that the other night but you lumped me in with like four other separate nuts. You may be a schizo yourself. The homeless guy posts navitimers and himself and whines about gangstalkers. He's not the poop guy, he's not the A.I. guy, he's not the "these-threads-are-spam-marketing" guy. All of those are -from what I can tell- separate people.
>>18739097Eh whatever. He will keep at it regardless. I didn't even respond to him the first fifty times he posted it.I am more surprised that hobo guy is actually crazy. I was positive that was a troll doing a bit.
>>18739100Nah, it's all me bro. This thread is still just you and me, as it has always been. As it will continue always being.
>>18739100A couple of days ago the homeless schizo kinda outted himself on being all of those guys
>>18739103Give me a break. I'm literally fighting nazis to save my life. You don't know how hard it is.
>>18739103Why tf are you lying
>>18739100The hobo guy has an extremely similar posting style at times to the AI/ Credor spammer, posts which are just pics of watches like this >>18739105 with little commentary. Plus Credor guy struck me as wacky enough to do a whole trolling bit like that because I wasn't responding to his spam.
>>18739105Here you go>>18736456
>>18739109This guy >>18739105Is definitely the landfill guy, who is most likely the hobo as well etc.>>18736462It's literally one retard doing most of this shit
There should be a separate wt meta/behind the scenes thread for this shit.
>>18739110some idiot makes allegations i am the poop poster and the Ai poster so that makes it true? i post chronographs and aged antique watches bc i like them. i do also complain about gang stalking literally everywhere i go. why are you lying? are you jewish?

>>18739100To get this thread back on topic here is a picture of a neat looking pocket watch from the Russian kino Krassny Shelk. I believe it is probably just a movie prop though it would be cool if it got a real identification.I posted it a few threads ago because some of you impress me how you can just look at a watch and know what it is.

But you definitely are the>gang stalking schizo>spam reporting retard>subhuman living under the bridge >landfill poster>chronograph spammerBut let's be honest, you are most likely the poop schizo as well, you gave yourself away, which is why you deleted this post as well>>18736430The other anon is also pretty sure the AI poster is also you based on your posting style >>18739109It's literally one guy
>>18739119He is the one orgasming over all the rusty old watched every thread
>>18739115>There should be a separate wt meta/behind the scenes thread for this shit. Were you here in the last thread? Lower Middle Class anon had his first meltie. It was real classic I'm-not-mad-you're-mad flailing.
>>18739125And who is behind all this? The biggest clue is the name of this thread.
>>18739116>are you jewishAre you also the fucking black and white 'gigachad' posting faggot? That is so lame.
>>18739134The homeless guy loves Nazis for some reason even though the irl Nazis put homeless people who refused to get jobs in camps under the title “asocial” enemies of the state.
>>18739125naw i don’t even know how to report people here idk who or wtf landfill posting is i do post chronos i do live under a bridge and they do gang stalk me
>>18739130>first meltieYou little cunts have been accusing me of losing my cool since I got here last year. I'm never 'melting' or 'seething' or 'coping'. I just like to write a lot of words ANY time anyone suggests anything even slightly disrespectful in my direction. Half the time people are lumping me in with other people and the other half it's assuming anything I do is at all new. Like the crazy hobo says, it would be easier if we had digital nametags. For the first few months it was "shittercollectoledo" or something. I could have lived with that. But I don't like being called a spammer, scammer, or troll.
>>18739137There's never been a lot of thought or consistency to the sentiments of the bigots. Not the brightest bunch.
I've started watching those NYC watch hustler videos. I've never worn a wristwatch. Tell me what to buy, /wt/
>>18739140Okay bud. You aren’t a troll. We believe you.
>>18739140Shitterhoardtardello.
>>18739140>I just like to write a lot of words ANY time anyone suggests anything even slightly disrespectful in my direction. That's a pretty good description of someone who loses his cool. Just saying. Wouldn't keeping your cool would just be brushing it off as nothing?
>>18739045you must be kidding because we have a resident schizo that writes walls of texts babbling how he's watched every review video ever made where they compare $90 watches from strip malls to $10k swiss timepieces and say there's no difference. he's absolutely delusional and gets very defensive (poor and retarded)
>>18739129ohhhh then i am the landfill guy its true i think they’re great >>18739137i can’t work bc of the gang stalking i managed to carry on the best i could for years, before i lost the will to live i had a job and had just transfer to ASU >>18739134naw i don’t post giga chad it’s not my style
>>18739147He is the one who made the other watch thread seething with rage at Rolex owners. Lmao He is in this very thread >>18739140
>>18739141yeah i know they hate white people for no reason all over the western world secretly working together to drive us to extinction
>>18739149Yeah that excuse wouldn’t cut it in Nazi Germany. If you were a vagrant you either got a job at the local munitions factory, joined the army or went to a camp.
>>18739145That's ruder. Why are you a jerk?>>18739146I do brush it off like nothing in that it doesn't bother ME, the real guy typing. It's honestly hilarious. especially considering the kinds of people insulting me. But you're right, there's really no way to write at length without it being interpreted as something else; a neediness or insecurity. As I posted in another thread, I don't consider this to be real. I'm usually far too sincere and honest in a forum where others are not, but it's anonymous so why would anyone really take it seriously? Why do people lie here? I guess to live out a fantasy. My life is not a fantasy. It's laid pretty bare for anyone to see. But not with enough detail that anyone would ever know it's me.

>>18739147I told you in the last thread to stop saying anything about shitters and $10k watches. I never have and those youtubers haven't either. That's your last one, bud.
>>18739155A. why do you think i love Nazis? B. Nazis would behead gang stalkers and I’d have my comfy lab job and a cute wifey rn
>>18739157Yes we are all extremely impressed with your 60 pound cabin door that costs a lot of money. You won and we lost.
>>18739162Wasn’t there a picture of you doing the okay sign by a swastika? That is pretty much my only basis for calling you a Nazi. That and you calling random people Jewish too.
>>18739152Rolex 1939
>>18739164Naw, Nazi’s don’t exist, the only reason people would put a line through a swastika in 2026 is because they hate white people. Jews openly call for the death of all white people 24/7
>>18739157>Why do people lie here? I guess to live out a fantasyThis is projecting. You lie a ton. You got caught a bunch of times in the last thread. You claimed to have a 400k dollar house in the Seattle area. When someone pointed out that's not bound to be very nice in an area where median home prices are nearly double that, you started backpedaling that you didn't even know how much your house was worth and guess that it was double.Hell, I don't even believe you're 46. I bet you're much older. You said you were Generation X (because to old farts like you Millennial still means cringe) and when someone pointed out that the youngest possible Gen X member is 46, that was what you immediately seized upon.
>>18739093Unironically, if someone made that choice for that reason that's totally acceptable. Some people still use cellphones, if that's what you enjoy that's cool.
>>18739163I wasn't trying to impress anyone. I've been told my house, whatever it's actually worth, must be in a shit state near shit schools with shitty people. I'm just saying I own a good house and I'm not poor. If I bought the "good watches" I'm supposed to I wouldn't be able to have a good home.Everyone is being very insulting and I didn't start it. But I'm not going to back away either. The last thing I am is a snob. But I'm not going to let people call me poor because I like cheaper watches. There are a lot of middle aged guys who collect $500 and under watches. It's a harmless and rather inexpensive hobby. I don't drink or do drugs anymore so it's a fun way to spend my extra time and money.

>>18739171They literally publish articles 24/7
> I wasn't trying to impress anyone>>long ass rambling post trying to impress usYeah.. I am convinced
It's true this guy is lying but it's also true that a house under $1m isn't automatically a slum regardless of location. 2 things can be true.
> I'm just saying I own a good house and I'm not poor. If I bought the "good watches" I'm supposed to I wouldn't be able to have a good home.>Everyone is being very insulting and I didn't start it. But I'm not going to back away either.Lmao No one is telling you to sell your house to buy a collection of Longe and Sohn or Patek Philippe’s
I want a meteorite-faced watch, and I like the bronze numerals on the dial here. Is there any other reason to not get this watch? I like the Stuhrling Tourbillon meteorite ones better, but there's a lot of variation in design and there are definitely some editions of that one I think look bad, and it's a real tossup whether one of the ones I want will pop up anywhere in the future
3000 dollerays1970 Rolex kinda scrummy
>>18739167I wasn't lying I was assuming things that weren't true and then I corrected it as I learned. I guess I lied when I said "I had my house appraised last year" when I really just looked up my house on a website a couple years back. "Outside Seattle" is about as close as I'm going to say that I live, but that doesn't mean I live in some ritzy suburb. I have a view of the Pacific Ocean, so how close to Seattle can that really be? And how cheap could a house of this size on the coast possibly be? I had drastically underestimated how much everything has gone up because I don't pay rent and I haven't looked at other houses. Considering the website thinks my home is a 1 bedroom when it's a 5, I'm sure their estimation of value is way off. I don't care if you believe any of that or my age. I'm not lying. But I'm not going to give out my address or take pics of the outside of my house and my big yard to prove anything either.

>>18739181>> But I'm not going to give out my address or take pics of the outside of my house and my big yard to prove anything either. You shouldn’t have to either. The impressive 60 pound door speaks for itself.

>>18739187this one you like to post, is it solid gold?
>>18739172Yeah the weed is good. I could grow if I wanted, I have a med card. But it's cheap and bountiful. Even cheaper across the border. I don't consider weed a real drug. It's the last vice I let myself have. I consider buying watches to be a worse and far more expensive habit than weed. I'm a little baked right now. It's why I write such long posts. Like in that movie where the guy has a 2,000 page book he can't stop writing because he's high and won't make any edits. He thinks it's all such genius. I get stoned and make little watch collages sometimes for this board. I spend hours browsing before I buy, but they're still impulse purchases kind of. I might be getting tired of it. I haven't purchased a new watch in a few weeks. I've got one in the cart but I still haven't pulled the trigger. I'm getting watch fatigue. I don't love them any less but the excitement is starting to wane.
>>18739188
>>18739191>I have a med cardOh, now it's all coming together. You're unemployed and living on disability. That's why we're supposed to treat you like you're financially stable, not just an old bum. A hundred bucks says that his house is actually his parents' house. He just moved there after he lost his job. That's why he has no idea what it's actually worth.
>>18739185lol, again with the door. I guess I don't know anything. I thought heavy doors were a sign of a good house. Visitors are impressed and when I go to other, newer homes I notice the doors are quite hollow and flimsy. My light switches are push button too, which people find charming. Two clawfoot bathtubs, two walk-in showers, and three kitchens. In the 40s the house was used as apartments so it's outfitted with a lot of extras. If I fix a couple windows back to the old style I can have a "historic" plaque on the front like many of the other houses around here. I don't know much about construction or houses but everyone has assured me this one is built to last and made from the finest materials. One side could use a paint retouch though.
>>18739191>I spend hours browsing before I buyThere's been scientific studies that prove that you get more endorphins (or whatever) when you think about a purchase than when you actually buy the item. The reward mechanism of the brain is in the pursuit, otherwise humans would have died in mid-hunt before actrually catching a prey and eating it.
>>18739200Fascinating. I need to learn to get by on that and not buy the watches.
>>18739191consumption for the sake of consumption is the worst thing you can do ask the buddha that being said, i like nice things
>>18739193Close. I inherited it when they died. It's my house now. But I'm not on disability. I totally lied about my "ailments". I just wanted cheaper weed and the doctor doesn't care. Pic related: Me and my friends in my awesome house.
