I live in Singapore now and it's hot and sweaty all year round. I want to dress somewhat stylish but all the fits I used to wear in the US were based on heavier fabrics and layering.Any general recommendations for what to wear? Any tropical-friendly fits you like? I especially need ideas for pants. Linen is a good fabric for this weather but it's boring and I fucking hate linen pants.
Loose, thin, loose-knit trousers, the kind that look like linen but are actually cotton. Pic related.

linen

>>18743215Good quality linen and tropical weight wool will be your fren. If you really don't like how linen looks, then try to find cotton that's been done in a more open weave. Seersucker is another option (similar to cotton) but the texture, like linen, is one you'll have to like.
>>18743879bruh why do i want these
>>18743215Tropical weight wool (Fresco) and seersucker are great for pants if you dislike linen.WRT Seersucker. I personally go for the dark navy seersucker as I find the traditional "railroad stripe" seersucker kind of ugly.
>>18743215yeah buddy I'm afraid that linen is the best you can do, somehow they still haven't invented a better fabric. everything else is a scam.>go to Uniqlo because everyone keeps talking about their magical summer Air-something clothes>it's polyesteranyway I think linen is comfortable and looks okay but ironing that motherfucker is a fucking sisyphean task
