I don't care about the movement or if it keeps time, just that they look realistically like the real thing - aka doesn't say "ROLIX" or have the numbers glued on backwards.

I'm trying to dress my age and need a dress watch or two which I can wear out and about which people will glance over as part of my whole fit but never see in enough detail to work out if it's fake or not. I have no intention of bragging about my watch, I just want something to wear once or twice per month when I go out to dinner or to a function or party or something and the watch functions only to compliment the rest of my fit.

I'm poor as fuck so I was hoping for maybe fakes in the $100-200 range and the fakes themselves being of watches in the sub-$5000 range. I absolutely cannot afford to "get into watches" and moreover I do not give a singular fuck about them in general, not as a collector's item, not as an 'investment' nor as some means to slap my dick on the table and boast about how rich I am. This is not something I would ever genuinely "save up" for, I do not care. I wouldn't spend $5000 on a watch even if I was a millionaire.

What is the best fake I can buy which will make me look good in photos and from a distance, and essentially achieve 90% of the benefit of owning a nice-looking low range luxury watch.

Literally Aliexpress.

Thing is, you still have to do research on what replicas are good and which are trash before you buy so that'll be a problem for you since you want a zero effort deal. Also decent replicas have moved on from the 1-200 dollar range and what's left there are the ones that say things like ROLIX or have the number on backwards. Decent replicas are in the 700-1K range now, which most that are into replicas agree is too much.

If he wants cheap but fake (with the actual name on the dial) it's on DHgate.

What will people think when they see you with your fake 10K Rolex living in a shitty studio or driving a shitty car (if you have any)?

You'd better buy a Tissot PRX (quartz) for $200 on chrono24, those have a nice style to them and people respect them.

I had a Rolex and I have a 1 bedroom in manhattan that I own. Yeah not exactly the high roller life, I put on my pants each morning like a regular guy, but probably better than yours given that you think having a car is an accomplishment so you probably live in some flyover oliver garden hell hole where the bus goes by once every 12 hours and it's full of junkies. I do happen to have a car but I don't think it's necessary let alone anything I want to brag about

Anyway I digress, Rolex is really not a big deal and I kind of got a strong urge to get rid of it within like a week of buying it but I hemmed and hawed and stuck it in a drawer for a couple of years first the reason I'm giving you a (You) is for op, brand worship is sad sack shit for sad sacks like you, and I have respect for people who wear fakes to say fuck you to the system assuming they're doing it for the right reasons. Sometimes I think it would be funny to own a fake but I want to buy a fake of something I genuinely despise like Panerai or Breitling. But I understand why people hate Rolex and I wish them all the best

wtf is this drivel?
You people are literally mentally ill, projecting stories in your head, that's not even funny anymore.
>>
>>18749356
Who is "you people"? I'm mentally ill yes I do not contest that, but I resent being lumped in with those watch people if that's what you mean. I just clicked on the thread because I like pierce brosnan bond because it's nostalgic to me. I hate watch people. I am not a "watch guy".
>>
>>18749359
Half the people in those /wt/ don't like watches either, it's just an excuse to talk to people and display their mental illness.

That being said, i can relate to the part of the Rolex sitting in a drawer.
I barely wear mine too except in winter, but i can't sell it because in the commie place i live selling your luxury valuables is a taxable event (like 30% i think, which is insane).
>>

>selling your luxury valuables is a taxable event (like 30%
checked, it's 6%, still very high for an item you bought for yourself and made zero money on.

>it's just an excuse to talk to people and display their mental illness.
Yeah that's why I come to 4chan, talk to people and display my mental illness. Turns out people (particularly women and nonbinary afabs) don't like that so I have to act as normal as possible IRL because being too unhinged is "getting free emotional labor"

I think dudes care less because they just want something warm to shove their cock into but I'm not too keen on exposing myself to all the latest pathogens so I try to be the one doing the cock shoving and keep up to date on my lab tests and shit

Thanks again for reading my blog, computer friends

Don't buy a fake watch, that's tacky. Plus it's quite obvious when someone who obviously cannot afford it is wearing a Datejust or even worse a Daytona.

Do some research and get a genuine watch which you can afford and which suits your style. There are lots of great pieces at good prices out there and you can't really go wrong with a Seiko.
>>
>>18749263
For $400 you can get a superclone Submariner that's indistinguishable from the real thing until you take the caseback off, and even the movement looks pretty close. For $1000 you're talking about frankenwatches with a gen dial on top of the superclone.

I wouldn't do it, though.
>>
>>18749371
This is what I'm talking about. I want like a $50 fake of a $1000 Seiko. No one will suspect it's fake but I would rather kill myself than spend $1000 on something I don't even look at to tell the time.
