Opinion on Toyo Steel boxes? I need an effay box to carry my accoutrements to the target shooting range.

They're based but not appropriate for your usecase.

I usually use a mastercraft tool box for my range kit. Also helps keep things a little more low profile.
>>
>>18749829
If it aint stackable it's shit imo
>>
>>18751679
Why would you need to stack a range box?
>>
>>18751691
I own 7 guns and don't know what the fuck a range box is. I know what an ammo box is and I know what a gun case is. But a range box I have never heard of. What I see here is a cheap little tool box. I recommend milwaukee packout for tool boxes. Or just go to a gun show and buy some normal ammo boxes.

You can get these at literally any gun show for cheap

I own A LOT more than you. I also shoot IPSC and ISSF and was a weapons instructor and RSO in the Army.
A range box is where you store essentials like targets, ear pro, eye pro, staplers etc.
You seem like a bot. No one needs all that space for a range trip.
>>

They dont have any organization to them.
Just get a toolbox ffs.

I've since found guns to be a complete waste of money. You pretty much never get to even do anything with them. Things like tools, musical instruments, ubiquiti networking gear, these are what I blow my money on now. I don't know or care what those abbreviations are nor do I respect the military or veterans since I know several and have some in my family. It's just a way to do something when you got Cs in high school and want some welfare money.

There's a smaller model that is stackable.

>>18751696
It's to carry all the nicknacks and accessories for shooting. Stuff I carry every range trip:

-Cleaning rod
-Patchworm kit
-Ballistol 100 ml
-Lens wipes
-Rangefinder
-Paper targets and pasties
-Stapler and extra staples
-Eye pro
-Ear plugs (usually carry my muffs but sometimes you need to double up)
-Small screwdriver and alien/hex driver set
-Multi-tool
-Spare batteries (for optics and rangefinder)
-Small notebook
-Pen and sharpie

>32-90 USD for a sheet metal box
Holy shit, just get a vintage second-hand Makita cordless drill for 20 USD. You still get the bomb-proof steel box, but you also get a cool cordless drill with it.

Then why are you posting in this thread?
No one asked for your opinion. You sound like a very successful man from a good background lulz
>>

>>

Based.
>>18755016
Assblasted zogbot.
>>
>>18751705
I mean, if you live in a city (we're on /fa/ so you presumably do) I'll agree since I hate indoor ranges with a passion but living on your own land large enough to have a shoot in your backyard, they're pretty fun
>>
>>18751628
this. go to Walmart and find a decent small toolbox. dealing with rust isn't fun. Just get a plastic one so your solvents, bore cleaners, etc are safe. That tin can looks like the handle would just end up falling off if you carry anything that weighs more than a first aid kit inside

No one likes your kind.
