My midlife crsis (pushing 40) is telling me I need to start wearing suits daily now to segment myself from plebiansI don't wanna be a goyim slopcore wearer anymore Is the voices in my head Right?
>pushing 40>wearing suits and using terms like goyslop unironically Its so over for you bro
>>18752091he looks like katie couric and the series is ethnic feminist trash
>>18752091>Is the voices in my head Right? On the slopcore yes, but I think you can do better than just suits
>>18752130Too "woke" for your incel chud ass, eh, "Igor"?You are a disgrace to the board.
>>18752091*Are* the voices in my head right. Is is for one, are is for many. Learn the rules, ESL cuntface.
>>18752212Igorpost aside that's a woman's show
The bar has never been lower. Anything beyond gymwear and a T-shirt will mog the average dweeb, and you don't have to worry about the inconvenience of cleaning that could come from daily wearing suits.Maybe a good compromise, or an on-ramp to suits, is to wear a blazer daily if you are drawn to a dressier look.
>>18752091just wear polo and jeansmore than enough for self respect
>>18752091unironically ronaldo is starting to look like him
>>18752091Yes but there must be a balance to be found between skinnytight modern shitsuits and like. AskOkey suits (which are honestly not even that bad just very exaggerated to the point they're hardly different from a zoot suit). I personally found that balance in sjparv's vintage suits. Simply getting into more formal fashion is already enough to distance yourself from plebs. No need to wear an actual full suit yet. Spend time on trying to find good suit separates first methinks. Or book an appointment at a stylist's if you can afford one if you're not looking to spend hundreds of hours searching. Going formal has the downside that if it doesn't fit perfectly it fits like shit. That's why I prefer wearing tweed jackets with military fatigues with denim/chambray/blue flannel plaid shirts. Still formal silhouette, but a completely relaxed vibe. Here's an example of what I mean. The shirt's in a ralph tuck but buttoned up with a nice red patterned tie looks equally great. Right, never get plain color ties. Ties are where you're encouraged to express yourself when suiting. If you must go fully formal then pick a rep tie at least. Don't neglect a good belt. Thin is elegant. Thick is cool. That's about it.
>>18752878Don't listen to him anon polo shirts and jeans are fuglier than gymwear.>>18752091>>18753224Here's proof of that. I think this is a worse outfit but it's just to demonstrate the shirt n tie. Don't neglect your shoes either. I personally prefer boots but if you wear formal, you must wear black dress shoes. And no fuckin brown or red loafers unless you're like me who wears the vintage amerikaji menswear
>>18752091Slacks are great.. can't go wrong with a good pair from Macy's or dillards on sale. They are cheaper than jeans and look great But you need to get them dry cleaned and pressed every so many wears depending on how long you wear them, how, where, whether you alternate often. Hang them up on proper hangers full length or folded over without creasing in the closet. They will last you years and look almost brand new 5 years later. Dry cleaning is cheap, find a good place you like with good work. I will drop of 10 or so at a time and they run about $3.00 each, once a month. But if you don't need them daily you can go longer. get good shoes man, I wore ugly combat boot looking boots and shit for a long time. A nice pair of dress shoes or boots is way better and brings outfits together. I prefer button down shirts myself untucked or guayaberas. Otherwise shirt and tie otherwise, just depends on the situation. You can build it starting at JCPENNEY, and move to Macy's and dillards. You will notice the some of the same brands with better fabric quality. If you wait for their friends and family sales at least twice a year you can get things 25% off plus whatever the sale price if you head to the clearance rack. Lots of times the clearance has returns, just missing tags but otherwise brand new. Other times they have half the tags or whatever. It worth it not to try to dress like your 10 years old by 40. don't wear tshirts or graphic shirts and shorts outside the house either. just think, would a 10 year old wear my outfit?

people are just going to think you're getting off work.
>>18753483>facism
>>18752091People that wear suits do so because their occupations demand it. Generally anyone in a high profile occupation dress as informally as they can get away with. Which is why "rockstar" CEOs like Musk can wear a t-shirt and jeans but the CEO of a domestic appliances company that's more answerable to the board of directors and shareholders has to wear a 2 piece suit like a good goy. Point is, if you go out of your way to habitually wear a suit when it's not demanded you will look like a larping retard.
>>18752091And so the white man returns to dandyism.
>>18752878nobody should do this

>>18752091>over 40 and retiredSort of. Don't wear suits. Save the full suit and tie for when formality dictates it (eg you are making a speech, attending a funeral, business meeting, court appearance etc. It will look and feel larpy if you wear that daily for no reason.Focus on wearing sportcoats or blazers made in high quality materials with odd trousers like chinos. Skip the tie and unbutton your top button. Don't buy some polyester shit that the wagies wear.Get some quality dress shoes or loafers and a matching belt. These will distinguish you from the office wagies that buy some $150 florsheim shite and match it with a walmart belt.Chinos are very versatile so you can dress them up or down depending on the situation.Eg today its warm where I live so im skipping the sport coat and wearing my navy chinos with a linen shirt and rolling the sleeves up. Even with that simple combination I'm better dressed than 99% of men without looking over the top.For your sake I hope you kept up with your fitness into your old age.
wear the suit, the retards in this post think it's some sort of magical item and that should tell you all you need to know.
