Let's talk about belts, /fa/. Best brands?
>>
I was going to make my own thread but then I saw this one. Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent light to medium brown 7 hole dress belt under 60 dollars? Most dress belts seem to only have 5 holes. I'm currently losing weight so I'd like a belt with more holes so I can wear it for longer before needing to replace it.

i got mine from some local leatherwork business, so cool!

i got a plain black belt from canadian brand zelikovitz for $30 and replaced the buckle with one from buckleguy which was like $15. it seems sturdier than my old navy belt which has lasted for about 20 years, so i wouldn't be surprised if it outlived me

why not buy one of these and punch holes you'reself?
thats what I do as i'm also losing weight
>>
why are belts so expensive anyway

Don't look at the brand. Making a good belt is piss easy as long as you don't want anything extravagant, you could even do it yourself.
Instead you should look at where they source their leather from. If someone doesn't openly list it on their site you know it's the cheapest glued together garbage and you don't want to buy from them in the first place.
