hi /fa/ i was given these as a gift by my grandfather and have no idea how to go about researching the value of them. he said that they're very old and alluded to divers during the 2nd world war. any help would be greatly appreciated.thank you
>>18755730Difficult bc you’ll be rich if you sell but it’s also shitty grandson behavior to sell them at the same time.Go to chrono24
>>18755730I hate materialists so fucking much. The value is that your grandfather gave them to you, so one day you can give them to your grandchildren.
>>18755736>>18755744he gave them to me with the instruction to determine their value. he's in his 80s and is still very much alive and kicking. i believe he wants to free up some liquid cash for a plan that we are working on.
>>18755748>weTrying to fleece him, eh?
>>18755730>Oysterdate "precision"No date, no second hand for precise time.LOLAnd that quartz on the right. They made those? They might all be bunk.
>>18755748jesus christ you stole your grandfathers watches didnt you
you know how smug fags in watch threads say they can tell a fake from a mile away? these are the kind of watches they are talking about
>>18755730The precision and quartz are definitely fakes. You can search for what the real ones look like. The real Rolex quartz have distinct square shaped lugs for example. The lume on the hands looks off too.Which means the middle one is likely also fake and it looks quite crude to say the least. Notice that the magnifying bubble doesn't appear to magnify the date numbers.
