No but I built my whole wardrobe for life between 2010-2016, back then you could game the Mr Porter sale, it was awesome getting everything at 80% off. Just don't get fat, I've basically only bought, socks, underwear, t-shirts and sneakers since then.

If I find a thing I really like I just keep buying only that one. I have 7 of the same t-shirt (3 same colour) and 6 of the same OCBD (3 same colour).

I own four pairs of black 874 Dickies pants.

I liked a pair of jeans so much, and not knowing if it would be a perennial item, I bought a second pair. Turned out to be a very good choice since they discontinued that cut of jean and the first I got was completely destroyed 4 years later.

I have two pairs each of dark navy selvedge denim, Navy Chino's+Navy linen pants. Because they are the ones I wear the most.

All my pants are black Levi’s, except for a pair of chinos that I wear for more formal occasions.

All items I really love I get in multiple colorways. I have that jacket and objectively it might be my best looking jacket.

That's the entire strategy behind fast fashion. Create artificial scarcity by discontinuing a product after a short period of time for no reason so that people are forced to binge buy it before hand, and then move on to binge buying new products.

I used to try doing that but I'm just gaining sizes as I get older. Not even fat or weight, but somehow jeans get tighter, tees too short, etc. So I rather build a very simple wardrobe where it's easy to replace staples, and not to worry too much about having varied and crazy fits for any occasion. Just a timeless, context agnostic wardrobe that's easy to elevate or adjust if in need.

I do this a lot because I always worry I'll never find another of my favorite garments or shoes.
