Got this 40% silk/60% linen jacket for a phenomenal price, the style is reminiscent of the 80's (low gorge, slightly padded shoulders, roomy fit - this was the smallest size) and I don't mind it to be honest, should I keep it or nah, /senpai/?

Also, what tshirt color should I use with this combo? Dusty pink? Off-white?
>>
>>18757782
I don't like it desu
>>
It would work only in very specific situations because of how long it is, and I think wearing it with a t'shirt is not one. Maybe a light coloured button up? Light blue, mild yellow and green etc. Light shoes aswell.

Is it really that long though? Afaik, it should cover your buttocks entirely and stop at the second joint of your thumb, with your arm relaxed (or so the internet says), which is nearly exactly where the hem ends.

Sleeves are 1~ cm too long but that can be easily fixed by a tailor I guess.

To draw a parallel, this is what the guys at Permanentstyle would consider a perfect length (although the cut is different, no doubt).
>>
>>18757831
no vents, that's a dinner jacket. also explains why it's cut a little longer. I like the material and color more than the cut of the jacket

>what tshirt
no, wear a plain dress shirt or at least a polo. you want to the jacket to be the focal point, not your shirt

I dislike your whole demeanor and i dislike your tiny grandma feet.

Idk if you're an actual midget but the proportions make you look like it.

On the good side, your face and hair look alpha, but the body and clothes are straight (pun intended) from the Birds Cage.
>>
>>18757916

I'm 5'11 and I wear US 11 shoes, retard.
>>
>>18757923
5'11 was probably tall in your days.
For the shoe size, i believe you're lying. Those are tiny ass feet.

Not trying to be mean, if you didn't want a honest feedback you'd ask your friends or reddit.
You do look like an old poofta. That's my feeling, instant cringe.

This is what I mean when I use the term cuckwear.

My feet are far from tiny, I wear 9.5 EE for Aldens (Van last), 10 for Allen Edmonds and 11 for New Balance (991v2, specifically). 5'11 is still fairly tall in my country.

It's the perspective of the shot. Didn't think I'd have to point that out on a fashion board.

lmao it's tinifeetman again

what happened to your trip?

>Zooming on the feet to make them look big

kek, usually people do this with their dick.
It's ok to have teeny tiny feet, live your dream as a ballerina or something.
>>
>>18757782
>>18757954
You clearly think you dress well but all this shit hangs off your unmuscular frame like drapes. You might as well just wear robes. Get a tailor, you old turd.
>>
>>18757782
the jacket is too big
the pants you're wearing in both outfits are too baggy
OP pic makes you look like you're in a late 80s music video and very passé in 2026
idk if youre a faggot or not, but both outfits make you look flaming as fuck and out of touch with fashion right now
the other anon is right, you're too skinny to pull that look off. either go on trt and bulk up, or choose more form fitting clothes.
>>
>>18757782
millennial bro, you need a pedicure
>>
>>18757782
Personally I would prefer the jacket style to be more casual with patch pockets and notched lapel; jetted and peak lapels on a cream jacket says you bought a warm weather tuxedo jacket to me.

larger, more relaxed fits are in this summer. The theme is grungy, rough semi-formal. See The Row for inspo. Personally, I don't like how the collars look, but the sizing and color is good. Shirt could be a contrast like baby blue or black.
>The Row
notice the formal inspiration from the past, but with a modern twist. Large fit for baggyness, yet kept with leather shoes. "Tired Japanese salaryman" look. The color only really works for summer- as we go into fall, need darker like browns, oranges, dark greens and blacks/gray.

Nice man feet, would suck them for hours.
>>
>>18758517
He has the feet of an older woman, when they start to get claws and calluses, but they think it's still ok to show them to the world.

I'm not for feet shaming usually, but those small flat square feet with those big toenails are not something i would show to people.
>>
>>18757782
The 80s are overdone at this point and i dislike any doublebreasted jacket
>>
>>18757782
It's at least one size too big for you, shoulders are way too wide, chest is too wide, sleeves are too long, whole jacket is too long...
You reasonably can't get that fixed by a tailor, get a jacket your size.

looking good anon. the only suggestion I'd make is cop one of these

That outfit looks lame
>>
>>18757782
It looks fine.
Get a nice linen shirt to go with it in blue/navy and a belt and loafers.
>>18757996
Its linen ffs, its not supposed to be form fitted as its supposed to be breathable.
>>
>>18757954
I wouldnt bother giving these retards the time of day. They are probably 300 pound fatasses hiding behind their computer screens larping. You look great in both photos.
>>
>>18758863
A liar who also attacks strawmen. Neat.
>>
>>18757782
The combination of high waisted wide legged pants and the length of that jacket give the impression of short proportions. Everything needs to be taken in and up 2 inches. The fit itself is fine its just very unflattering for your body.
>>
>>18758866
He mogs about 95% of men walking around out there these days. You are either stupid or delusional.
>>
>>18757782
idk but somethings off, either the cut, the style, or it doesnt go with the rest of the fit

fitted style is actually out of style of of recent. Looser/more relaxed and even oversized fit is in now
>>
>>18758890
it's the lapels with the huge edge stitch. it's super polyester 70's in all the ways the 70's were terrible for fashion

looks like something grandma bought out of the Sears Roebuck catalog circa 1976
>>
>>18758914
>fitted style is out of style
Do you not see the difference between a relaxed fit and a jacket two sizes too big?
Have a look at the creases near the collar and lapel, the creases around the armpit, the creases all over the forearm when OP has a hand in his pocket, the point of his hand where the sleeve reaches, the creases behind the arm in the side profile, and the length of the whole jacket.
The coat you posted has droopy unpadded shoulders and that's it, the rest fits the model nicely.
>>
File: lengthhhh (1).jpg (3.28 MB, 4330x5773)
3.28 MB JPG

The jackets in the pic are the exact same length as the one pictured in the OP, and not only do they look absolutely bomb but they were altered by a professional tailor to look the way they do.

If you think they're too long you're mistaken, they cut exactly where they're supposed to (2nd joint of the thumb) and fully cover the seat, as it should be.

Same goes for the white and sand trousers. Same model, size, leg opening.

Now, I understand that in the US of Cuckmerica the government mandates that you dress up as niggers to speed up ethnic replacement but you gotta realize that there's more to fashion than workwear, $5 plastic basketball shoes made in SEA sweatshops, hoodies, sweatpants and NFL jerseys. Also, wider fits have been "in" for 5 or 6 years now, to the point that they've gone mainstream, get with the times.

As for the white jacket, I did return it because the fabric and full lining made it too hot for the summer but it definitely was neither too long, nor too roomy; the roomier fit, low gorge and padded shoulders made sense cause Lardini took inspiration from Miami Vice Sonny Crockett's fits for the design, which is exactly what I was going for.

Now, post fit, so we can sit here and nitpick how a 3 seconds mirror selfie might distort proportions a tad all day.

>>18759188
1 and 4 look great.
I dislike the others but stripes are bold or cringe depending on your tastes. Tho, even this one doesn't look that gay compared to the one in the OP.

Obviously you put a lot of effort in your shit, maybe you expected other reactions, but you just look like an old decrepit fag in the OP.
Maybe you should show more restraint as you age (if this is you at all).

>Dear diary,
>Today /fa/ called me a decrepit homosexual again. I was wearing a beautiful crème ensemblé from Lardini, my favorite master tailor. The blazer alone did cost me 750 yuros, as it is made from the finest linen. The pedicure was from 'Horses & Hoes' here in Belgrad. Senior toenails is their specialty.
>Yet, it was not enough to convince the panel of fashion experts here on /fa/. This is quite a bad turn in my sartorial journey. What should i wear for my next trip to Milano? I am trully lost.

>these jackets are all the same length, and they're intentionally too long
When the rest of the jacket fits you it's too long for my taste.
When the jacket is also way big, it's too long, full stop.
>you're mistaken and I'm right because I'm following the rules
If that's your standard, consider that all of their backs go way below the seat of your pants.
Also consider that the striped jacket's sleeves don't reach the second joint of your thumb, as you can see from the only picture in these four where you're keeping one arm straight down.
>if you don't like my fit you're a cuck nigger mutt and you can't dress
I can't say what gave you that impression, but I'm italian.
>wider fits have been in for years
So you do not, indeed, see the difference between a relaxed fit and a jacket two sizes too big, despite the points I made?
You've seen pics as well, at this point I'm afraid I don't know how to put it any differently.
>it's inspired by Crockett's fits
Can you find a single picture where a jacket Sonny's wearing creases and is as long as the one you're wearing in the OP pic? (you can't because, long as his jackets might have been at times, there's a difference between a relaxed/wide fit and a jacket two sizes too big)
Also, again, if that's your standard, the jacket you got is way too structured, the fabric's too heavy, and I can't readily remember Sonny wearing a jacket with peak lapels.
>post fit
Here's the most recent pic of me wearing something decent.
>distort proportions
You're ignoring all the points I made about the creases, sleeves length, shoulders width and so on.

You're way out of OP's league, have some self awareness, kek.
