why are you wearing women's office clothes

To clarify, I dress like an office dork currently, I'm trying to break free from being that by looking into alternative fashion scenes.

I'm currently learning skateboarding, so I'm leaning more into Alt/skater-wear but I worry at my age it would seem a little cringe to dress like that.

How can I take baby steps into dressing a bit more creatively and more streetwear heavy.
