OMG THANK YOU! I say this all the time and it's really basic yet people seem to ignore it. I'm glad to see someone else besides me say it. The length in your picrel seems a bit too long for me though. That's more knee-length than above the knees. An inch or two higher than that to expose the entire knees including the very top of the kneecaps would be perfect though. No need to go all the way up to the middle of the thigh if you don't want to but knees should be COMPLETELY uncovered and visible.

Does anyone unironically need advice on this? I mean they're fucking shorts. Shorts are so simple that it's impossible to get them wrong unless in the rare instance that they're mid-shin or the very top of your thigh. Otherwise you'd have to try on purpose to screw up shorts.

Unsure how common this is (I do live somewhere hot and humid) but I prefer shorts over pants and do think I look better in shorts over pants. I'm someone somewhat goofy who doesn't take himself super serious and pants make me look too serious while shorts make me look more carefree. And since I wear shorts the vast majority of the time shorts are kinda my default and when wearing pants and look down I feel kinda weird not being able to see my bare legs anymore.

I can't wear shorts anymore because years of wearing tight dress socks to work have cut off circulation and made it so that my leg hair doesn't grow around my ankles. I look like I have old man legs; it's disgusting.
I wish I would have known that something like this could be permanent... I would have stretched my socks for a looser fit to prevent this ;_;

Sounds pretty common to me. I also live somewhere hot and I know some guys who literally just don't own a single pair of pants and haven't worn pants in like 5-10+ years or even more. And women seem to find it hot that they always wear shorts.
