Websites aren't just straight HTML anymore. They are generated in browser by abstract JS toolkits built on libraries that are themselves built on libraries. And when you need to add a new feature, you just add new libraries and never update the old ones. Then throw in a half dozen libraries used to for tracking and analytics. Finally nobody knows and understands everything works so every new webmonkey that works on the site is afraid to remove anything and you end up with.

>>18759345They probably use a third party company's service to make the website.But the reason it runs so slow seems to be a mix of how the initialize everything and all the god forsaken scripts and telemetry they use on the website. They have 74 stylesheets, 43 of which are external stylesheets for single components. They have 273 javascripts for various libraries, telemetry, and what seems to be styling for some reason. For some reason, they decided to use a script to load their fonts instead of just loading it in CSS. You can see all of this in the network tab in your browser's dev tools> t. Software dev
