Has anyone had any success with using IPL for beard removal? Been looking for a way to get rid of beard shadow but without removing my beard permanently.

what if you like the clean shaven look and don't wanna waste days out of the year taking the same hair off your face

IPL, like laser, is a semi-permanent hair removal technique. A course of 6 to 10 sessions will rid you of beard shadow because it will rid you of your beard. Some hair will grow back, thinner and sparser, as long as you produce (male) hormones, but that hair will not be dense enough to qualify as a beard or to produce a beard shadow. It will be way easier and way faster to shave

I would know, I did it. I appreciate the freedom from shaving duty and don't miss my beard shadow

To get rid of bear shadow without removing your beard, you need a hair removal method that removes the hair from the follicles (so the hair isn't visible as a shadow under the surface of the skin) without destroying the follicles (as IPL and laser do). That means wax, an epilator, or tweezers. I hope you enjoy pain!

do you find you look uncanny at all with no beard shadow? the idea of laser hair removal has crossed my mind mainly for the time saved from daily shaving, but I don't know how I feel about permanently losing my ability to grow a beard

do you foresee giving up your boyish looks and manmoding in old age?
