Why do thirdies wear these sandals with nothing attaching them to the heal? They're so impractical to move around in, constantly slapping around and threatening to slip or fall off randomly, a microcosm of the kind of chronic nuisances and inefficiency that plague these countries.
>>18762906>Why do thirdies wear these sandals with nothing attaching them to the heal?quick to remove, for when you just need to walk around home (if home is "open air"/country side since dust accumulates or many balconies)/go outside for quick thing to do like throwing garbage, some wear em only in bathrooms if they walk barefoot at homenot indian tho so not sure the hygene stuff applies to em
>>18762906Why do you post these retarded threads, when you obviously have 0 knowledge about fashion, or even any desire to discuss fashion? You just want to ragebait and "troll". Go back to /pol/ for that

>>18762906They will slip out and make you fall only if you're a drooling retard and have degenerate stiff feet with crooked toes from wearing shoes all your life. Sandals are better because they're easy to wear and remove in a country where you don't bring footwear indoors. And since India is a tropical country, they also keep your feet nicely ventilated and cool. But sliders like that are a more recent trend in India. Traditionally Indians always wore sandals like picrel which had a loop at the big toe and a band in between the big too and the first toe (similar to flip flops) to hold the sandal in place.
