Does anyone know another brand that makes a Willard with a plain steel bezel? The printed logo here looks ugly as fuck, they offer a logoless version but it just feels like I am ashamed of what I am wearing if I go with that. Once upon a time, I knowingly went out to buy counterfeit watches. I was living in a place where fakes were hawked openly by dudes riding up and down the street on bicycles. The first fake I bought was a, "genuine replica, nuclear-powered" Rolex for the equivalent of about $10 USD. It definitely ticked and the thing stopped working after three days. Out of curiosity I went to a souq with a friend to see their "watch guy" who had a way better set-up than the guys on the bike. Well-lit, display pieces, the works. He didn't hide the fact that they were fakes, he just made sure to sell good fakes. I bought two Tag Hauer something or others for about $65 USD. Idk if anyone knew or cared that they were fake but they drew compliments. One of the watches died within half a year and I lost the other in a move. All of this happened a decade ago so I'm wondering if fakes have improved since then

Someone in some deleted watch thread was asking for a beige watch with big numerals. I recommend Seiko sbpx157. Solar, sapphire, 100m wr, under 10mm thuck, and as a bonus the dial is fully lumed.
This baby shines bright in the sun, in the photo the scratches is noticeable but under the sunlight the shining metal, bezel and glass makes up for that. Seiko wired AGAD-401.

I almost bought this on impulse. Had it in my cart and almost checked out. Had been wanting an open heart and this one is 38.5mm instead of 41mm, has sapphire, looks great. But it's just another dress watch I don't need. I do feel like buying another watch, but I will spend a little more time shopping for it and then sleep on it or even wait a week.
