Why did workwear suddenly become popular again recently?

I loved workwear in the mid to late late 2010s. I graduated from skinny jeans, America apparel t shirts, and other stuff from urban outfitters to nudie and APC jeans, and various j crew stuff in 2008. I had a sick APC x Carhartt jacket in 2011 I bought off context clothing. I loved my Alden’s from unionmade goods. I never got into cav empt, supreme, or Rick owens. It’s funny seeing Gen Z in raw baggy selvedge denim, and not mid 20th century anti-seat baggy, but jnco baggy. lol I only wear hedi era Dior, Celine and SLP now. Hedi perfected fashion and Rick owens was right about workingOut is modern couture. I never had desert boots or a peacoat. lol
I'm 31 and have been wearing workwear since way before 'workwear' was a word. I grew up in the sticks and wore a Carhartt jacket (still got it), heavy duty carpenter pants, etc. because that was just what you wore to split and stack firewood, work on stuff outside, etc. One of few aesthetics that looks both masculine and unpretentious in lots of settings and IF YOU DO IT RIGHT doesn't look like a larp, though a lot of people do it wrong and do look like larpers.
