How do you mix your gay fashion tastes with existing in real life and having an actual job?Are you all NEETs, students, or have office job?I can't imagine that you are all architects, there must be some uber eats drivers and Walmart cashiers...
>>18768511what the fuck makes you think I'm wearing my nice clothes to work?
>>18768513That's what i'm wondering.Do you just have two separate lives, one that takes you at least 5 days a week where you can't be yourself, and only 2 days a week where you can actually be yourself and dress like you want. 2 days a week, what's the point even?
>>18768515with remote work it's a few days office attire and a few days whatever I like. I am myself in both settings, just wearing different styles
I have a wfh office jobwhat the fuck do you do, plumb?
I work from home and get with my team 1-5 times a year where I just wear my clothes.
>>18768511I have an office job but I also spend a lot of time out and about.
>>18768524I have an office job too where i dress how i like (Europe) but i try to stay neutral and professional looking (otherwise you look like an underachiever).I'm considering switching to a manual job (ie AC maintenance) since my office job will get fucked in a few years (if not straight up fired, probably shittier and shittier pay). That's why i'm wondering how people with those jobs actually stay /fa/, unless they go full Severance and totally kill their inner being 40 hours a week.
>>18768524>>18768525Grim, I wfh for 3 years and I have a field job now driving to sites and I love it, not stuck in an office or home office. But to be fair I will sometimes play american truck simulator for fun and love windshield time (as long as I'm jot on the east coast, absolute shithole and horrible drive)
>>18768511Jobs are for peasants.
>>18768515is your work day 24 hours?
>>18768547So, you go to work in your work clothes, work 8 hours + commuting, then what? You come back home, change your clothes and go out again 1 hour? 2 hours?
>>18768515Yes, a job is a separate life from your private life, have you ever had a job?
>>18768511I'm an engineer, and I straight up wear what I buy to work and in every day. That being said, I'm not on some avant garde tastes. I do a lot of preppy shit as well as some vietnam vetcore type shit depending on how much I want to kill myself that week. People say I dress well, and I believe them because I'm a gullible faggot.
>>18768537Eh. Last 5 years I work maybe really 2 hours a day. I make after tax around 7000 euro a month, now considering a move to a job that I expect to work even less and make 9-10k after tax.I cook my own meals every day fresh, I do laundry during work hours, I go do chores liberally etc. It's boring to not have a reason to go out yeah but the benefits are kinda crazy.
>>18768549I'm neet
i manage two restaurants and can wear whatever i want
You can dress as avant garde as you want to an office job. The only thing you can't really do is be sexual or show a lot of skin. Baggy Japanese fits are totally fine for the office.
>>18768511I work a job with a uniform. Since I don't go outside in my free time, my work uniform influences my fashion.Legally speaking, I'm not allowed to wear my whole uniform (particularly, the top) outside my job. However, due to efficiency, I wear my uniform's pants and boots on my commute so I can clock in and out faster. This means that my commute outfit is something that must work with the uniform's lower half.
>>18768511I'm a clerk at USPS.... luckily with a good position at a good office. job is cozy af.
I just deliver packages on gig apps, you can wear whatever you want.
>>18768511my style (sexy) is harmonious with my profession (prostitute). There is no problem.
I remember buying saint laurent in my teens and early 20s, now I'm in my early 30s, disabled after injuring my spine, and can barely afford food.
>>18768549You know, that's what most people with a regular day job do. Yes, work 8 hours, come home and change. Maybe go out shopping or to a movie or whatever, in different clothes. Work clothes are different from leisure, even if you are a plumber.
>>18768791This is when you reach peak NPC form. The soul that was once there is totally gone.
>>18768952Nobody goes out again after work they go out on the weekends.
>>18768823Based. You should play valheim on your welfare checks
I enjoy to dress nice and I wear what I want to work.I work in the automotive industry so Im typically not dressed like everyone else around me.I keep a pair of coveralls in my car and boots so I can stay clean when I need to go in a garage or shop.
>>18768511fashion as an interest self selects for trust fund kids. at 30 i threw my hands up and just started buying shit from costco.
>>18769074You don't have to buy designer pieces to be fashionable, bro.
>>18768511I work in agricultural automation and telemetry. I mostly wear western workwear on the job, and save my nicer stuff for my days off.
>>18769019I'm not disabled enough for welfare, I plan on shooting myself once my money runs out.
>>18769074Hilarious when people say shit like this. Your average middle class employer individual will contemplate the 50k and the 70lk model. But if they were to buy the 50k model and spent the 20k they saved on clothing that'd be insane. Sometimes I wonder if you people realize how little money is comparatively costs to create a great, long lasting wardrobe.
