"It's supposed to be understated" ok but it's not supposed to look like a Longines that costs a tenth of itI know exactly what you mean and completely agree in many cases, but these two JLCs are different in that regard.The perpetual calendar (the one with the integrated bracelet) has a mildly domed dial with a fumé effect at the outside edge. Also the little outside ball indexes are partly sunken into the dial, see pic.The duomètre (the one with the leather strap) has a dramatically domed dial and therefore needs a bubble sapphire.I'll post a side shot in my next post.

I've had some watches here and there when I was a kid or a teenager, but I didn't think much of it.Now as an adult I got into watches a year ago, and by now I have contracted full blown watch autism. I care about everything, including brand, history, in-house movement, etc.I bought a beautiful chinese homage almost a year ago. Aesthetically it is the best watch I own, but something about it just feels empty.
