Does the average person even understand what it means to dress well? I've gotten compliments from time to time, but they don't seem to understand what makes me look good. Every time I ask them why do you think that, they just respond with "idk it looks nice".
Proportionality mainly, the rule of thirds. The compliment means entirely different things depending on the gender giving it too. From a normie woman it means your chest looks wide and huggable in proportion to your lower half.

However the real issue is how quickly your base layers dry out again. There is nothing worse than damp underwear which is where shorts shine. Personally I use hiking pants with zipper vents on the thighs that make a huge difference when doing outdoor recreation. Summer is by far the worst time of the year. Thank god this weeks highs are finally only in the 70s/80s
