SL500 top down in green is too much car and too much color and that was the whole point. The bagginess came from the same place, kids in NYC in the crack era dressing twice their size because the decade had already taken everything down to the bone and the response was to build yourself bigger than what was trying to reduce you. The crime, the corners, the losing people, and somewhere in the middle of all that the clothes got louder and the cars got greener and the music got heavier. The city that spent a decade trying to disappear an entire generation watched it show up in excess instead, top down, taking up every lane.
