There's something about a denim jacket. You don't just chuck on a denim jacket to run downstairs to the corner shop, you put one one when you're going out with a purpose, a mission. Go smell the collar of your denim jacket right now, savor the scents of cotton, sweat, cologne, all mixed together and recall the last time you donned this proverbial piece of armor against the wild and crazy dangers of the night.

Part of me wants to buy a Type II, but I honestly feel like its pretty larpy. I'm speaking as a raw denim nerd too. Really not comfortable rocking the double denim, so I'd probably have to pair it with some green/black painter pants or fatigues

>>18773507My grandfather and my uncle are ranchers and I've never seen them wear a denim jacket. They wear wranglers, everyone wears wranglers here in various cuts. But my uncle always wears carhartt hooded jacket or carhartt rain defender with relaxed wranglers and twisted x mocs. And my grandpa would wear a wool pendleton shirt and then this field and stream branded jacket with cowboy cut wranglers and square toe work cowboy boots all the time with a phoenix suns hat. My other (married into aunt) uncle who is a fertilizer guy who runs one of those tractors that take soil samples and map where a field needs what mineral or chemical or fertilizer and worked harvests for like 20 years before that wears work square toed cowboy boots, cowboy cut wranglers, a western shirt with shit stuffed in both chest pockets, and a carhartt duck hooded jacket just like the other one.
