Why is fahsion week so pretentious? The front row thing comes off so cringe like everyone is just clout chasing it looks so fucking pretentious and disingenuous why do the do it every year without fail like that. Im going to guess that its a marketing tactic to say oh, madonna sat in the front row of Celine's show everybody look
>>18778254What's supposed to be "clout chasing" about these fits? If anything it's embarrassing 3 of them wear the same pair of shoes.
>Why is fashion so pretentiousI don't even know where to begin with you.
>>18778254t. third row seetherGet famous, loser.
>>18778254idrk what to say but the brown girl has some really sexy bare thighs. love me a girl who's not afraid to show a lot of bare leg. the women next to her are barely showing any leg. cowards
>>18778254Another nigger who thinks he's "keepin it reaaaaal" because he has no class, status, or access to important events.
>>18778802Based if you ask me she's the hottest one here despite us not being able to see her eyes. Now that I'm looking at the pic more closesly all of the other women except for the one wearing black right next to her are kind of ugly so she doesn't have much competition.
>>18778810I mean yeah. All the other women have rather masculine square shaped faces. Hers is the most rounded and feminine. Kind of ironic considering people usually stereotype Black women as being more masculine than White women.
>>18778822>Kind of ironic considering people usually stereotype Black women as being more masculine than White women.anyone who actually thinks that hasn't spent much time around black women. black women have actually been more feminine than white women from my experience, i assume partly due to fighting the stereotype of black woman equals masculine. besides black women often moisturize a lot and have extremely soft skin and you can't get more feminine than that pretty much
>>18778254i want to die suffocating in the black womans pussy
>>18778832"Black don't crack"They just don't hit the wall the way white girls do
>>18778254it's the time when all the jerks and phonies pour into rooms and pretend they have taste or knowledge about fashion while all being clueless
>>18778254Because of that black chick, this officially classifies as a thread with a lust provoking image and a time wasting question. Simple as.
>>18779523i want to have sex with this car
>>18778254black females are so unattractivethey all have that dumb bitchy stuck up face like they're too good for you yet they're literally the bottom tier race
fashion week was originally just for editors and buyers. editors to write about the new collections, buyers to view them and place orders for their stores. something that's sort of always been around but used to be quite a lot smaller was VIP clients being invited to fashion week. these customers spent so much they were basically like buyers (ordering an entire stores worth of clothes). so pre-2000's you would sometimes have celebrities at fashion if they happened to also be huge spenders. but usually it was little old ladies no one knew that were married to oil barons or something. (who still attend modern fashion week btw, they didn't go anywhere but this post is about celebs). late 90's onward things start to change. runway shows start getting more and more extravagant. if you look at archival footage of something like a christian dior runway show when christian dior was actually still alive in the 1950's; it's like a rented hotel ball room with buyers and editors seated in folding chairs. the models walk around the room and christian dior is in the middle with a microphone explaining each look, the materials, etc. there was next to no theatricality. this changed over the years but especially in the 1980's with designers like thierry mugler who put on insanely extravagant runway shows that would influence an entire generation of designers. in the 80's it was unique, in the 90's it had started to spread, and by the 00's it was actually the norm.
>>18781606runway shows became these big huge extravagant productions with super models and soundtracks and crazy lighting and set pieces etc.the direct result of this was that fashion week started to cost brands millions of dollars to attend and show. so fashion week went from being a small private event for industry trades people to basically the biggest marketing extravaganza a brand could have. this is when celebrities started to get invited to fashion week en masse. because brands spent so much on the runway shows they didn't want to dare face a situation where no one would attend or pay attention to their show. so inviting and paying celebrities became a way to guarantee their show would get mentioned and covered. the reason the celebs look so bored and pretentious is actually because they don't care. they're being paid to be there purely as ornamentation to make sure the show gets the most buzz and the most coverage. sometimes brands luck out and the celebrity in question actually likes their brand. but in many cases (and especially with male celebrities) it's often a situation where the person in question literally doesn't care or gives a shit about fashion. they are purely in the front row because it's a gig their manager booked.anyway, maybe that hopefully explains the situation for you somewhat.
