Why are hairlets so desperate to drag people down to their level?

hair transplants are $1500 in turkey and $2200 in thailand, flights to both are under $500, fin and min are $10/month. Being bald is a choice

>Why are hairlets so desperate to drag people down to their level?

They're trying to help balding men, who are having a hard time emotionally with going bald, come to terms with being bald and guiding them into accepting baldness by urging them to shave their heads so the choice to be bald is essentially their own.

When Leland Palmer is dying, Agent Dale Cooper cradles his head and gently strokes his hair to comfort him while reciting passages from the Tibetan Book of the Dead to help his soul navigate the Bardo and find the clear light.

It's basically the same thing.

Given how emotionally restrained men are with each other, bald men helping balding men come terms with losing their hair is one of the rare instances of men helping other men with their mental health without them being uncomfortable and weird about it.

This isn't something you should be complaining about.

Not one man has recommend attempting to save their hair in one of those threads and lived to post in another. Shaving it is rarely the only option.

>Shaving it is rarely the only option.

I've seen some of those threads.

A lot of those men are already on "the big three" (minoxidil, finasteride, and ketoconazole shampoo).

If you're on "the big three" and still balding, there's really nothing you can do.

GRANTED there are a couple extremely rare cases of "men" who were so besides themselves with losing their hair that they went on male-to-female HRT medication to get it back, but if you're a man and you're so bothered by balding that you'd really be fine with growing breasts, shrinking your penis, and becoming androgynous, you're definitely not cisgender.

If the big three are failing you, there's nothing that will help.

some men legitimately believe having hair and having to take care of it is fufu prissy feminine behavuor.
>>
>>18780816
men are rarely ever on the big 3, they look at fin once and see what T in DHT stands for and stay the fuck away
>>
>>18780816
False. Treatment options are largely gatekept because it will shatter the narrative of previous iterations of bald men. Since they can't reproduce and balding is effectively cured if you're proactive, they instead rely on coercion through emotional manipulation and a false sense of comradery. The hope being that the new shaved head initiates will propagate the idea to others, thus reproducing when in modernity there is simply no excuse to go bald.
>>
>>18780854
The sense of comradery is alluring to men who are facing serious self image issues. Where as going the route of treating it instead is inherently vain (which is actually extremely healthy for your ego and in turn confidence). Its a lot easier to accept positive affirmation for your failure, fat people do it all the time.

And that's the fault of other men.

The sane way you have anti-vaxxers, there's a small minority of men who are virulently anti-finasteride and will preach anti-finasteride propaganda in any place on the internet where one might seek advice for hair loss saying things like it can permanently stop you from being able to get an erection or give you permanent brainfog.

A portion of men curious about finasteride will hear these things and won't try the medication because they've been scared shitless about the side effects.

>>18780854
>gatekept

Are you talking about the big three? Because if you are, they aren't being gatekept, at least not in the U.S. because you can buy ketoconazole shampoo and minoxidil without a prescription and you can get a prescription for finasteride or even dutasteride within an hour.

If you're talking about experimently stuff like peptides and whatnot, the majority of that stuff was only shown to regrow hair in mouse models and don't work the same way in humans.

>>18780793

Overseas hair transplants are sketchy as fuck and you can end up getting one that looks really poor.

American has transplants cost as much as they do because you're getting a skilled doctor who knows how to create a natural looking hairline, how to ensure the majority of the grafts transplanted survive, and providing follow-up care which is impossible to do if you get it done overseas.

And minoxidil and finasteride doesn't work for everyone.

There are plenty of threads on the tressless subreddit where finasteride and minoxidil either stopped working after some years or didn't work at all.
>>
>>18780880
American transplants cost $4000. Prices are collapsing since its done mostly by robot. Its the same robot in turkey, south korea, thialand, mexico, etc. the overhead is just different

every hair transplant i've seen from a third world country looks like it's been done along a ruler line, extremely shitty and unnatural
>>
>>18780915
turkey alone does over a million hair transplants a year. Compare that to a "first world" country like australia that costs 10x as much doing 10-15k a year. Turkey has way, way more experience and there are not millions of guys walking around with "ruler line" hair lines. Balding is a choice now, stop coping

Everyone in the comments is applauding like crazy. But honestly, for a middle-aged man, he really looked perfectly fine. Especially from the front. I bet women actually prefer the old version too.

$3000 and he could have kept it for life.

It's too late for me.

recently saw a clip of a movie.
it was glenn howerton with a full horseshoe
as in, horseshoe, nothing on top, guy was wearing a suit and in some office setting and was talking/gesturing all serious

and i thought goddamn
this guy looks conventionally attractive with a full horseshoe, as in NOTHING on top and short sides, and he was looking unironically attractive, for sure lots more attractive than me with a full head of hair
some people can pull off a horseshoe without going the reddit way of "uhh shave it all off dude"

but then again, guy is a 5 star man
>>
>>18781675
>MPB but still some hair
>guy looks normal weight, maybe even fit

>full bald
>guy looks fat

why
>>
>>18781675
I wouldn't shave it if that was my hair. I shaved my head as soon my temples started to recede a little bit and kept it shaved for a few years but eventually I got so tired of shaving it ever 2-3 days. I just let it grow out regardless of whether it looked like shit. Looked way worse shaved than grow out but slightly thin and receded anyways.

If it gets to tony soprano level balding I'll probably shave it again.
>>
>>18781971
if youre fine with having thinner hair, and you dont want to shave it all off, just have some transplanted. you dont need a large transplantation to prevent going full horseshoe, makes a big difference im sure
>>
>>
>>18781679
how?

What does any of that have to do with shaving the hair you have? That's such a stupid fashion choice. Like growing a huge 1800s lumberjack beard.
Going bald gracefully is a dying art and the idea that you need to be shiny bald is pathetic.
>>
>>18781675
This. That fucking guy did not need to do it and looks worse for it.
>>
>>18782049
3000 grafts to restore density and a finasteride perscription

I went there and and the guys who had receding but still good looking hair were advised against shaving, you are desperately trying to find enemies when there are none

1) optical illusion, hair makes face look longer
2) the t-shirt sure doesn't help, the teal one simply makes him look slimmer cause dark

Putting gene modifying experimental treatment shit that forces your body to artificially create proteins spikes and has nano-particles in it is bad but finasteride is good. You just clearly lack critical thinking and just happened to land on fin side.
