I got into Italian brands last year and I can’t go back because once you feel how that fabric moves with you instead of just hanging there you realise everything else was cardboard. The wool is different, I don’t know how to explain it, it’s softer but it’s got weight to it, like it knows where it’s supposed to fall and it just goes there. I thrift most of it because I’m not paying retail on a student budget but even a secondhand Italian jacket from the 90s feels better than anything new off the rack, and that’s the part that gets me, the thing is 30 years old and it still drapes better than what dropped last season. My boys clown me for caring this much but then they borrow my stuff and never give it back so clearly they feel it too. I think fashion is just how you show up to life without saying anything, and if the cloth is right you don’t need to say anything, people just know. Every morning I pick what I’m wearing based on how I want to feel that day

that's a super cool story I'm sure the only way to have lived in clothes is to have autism and thrift italian shit
