Is it safe to assume majority of people here are already aware that physical fitness will have more of an impact on your appearance than clothing ever will & that focusing on improving that aspect of yourself will make more of a difference than fixating on buying X brand or X item of clothing.

Your silhouette is primarily determined by your physical shape rather than however you choose to match/layer clothing.

It makes a lot more sense to work on fitness before you even begin to worry about what clothes to buy.
>>
there is next to no one into fashion who's not already in shape considering no one even makes decent clothes for fat people. can't believe a watch thread died for this.

>no one even makes decent clothes for fat people

Almost all pret a porter is made for fat people. It's just that the definition of fat you have says so much about your body.
>>
>>18783603
you're just straight up wrong. anyone can fact check you by going to any designer menswear site and looking for size 38 or larger pants. there's always next to nothing.
>>
>>18783608
Anything over 33-34 is megafat tier.

I can't see my abs (thus far) and I'm wearing a 30.
>>
>>18783611
which is exactly what i said. 36 is the largest size most brands regularly carry. ergo my original point stands. all you've done is argued in circles with me to ultimately agree, thanks retard chan.
>>
>>18783614
You have problems with reading comprehension, go back to elementary school.

Anything past 31-32 is for legit fat people. 33-34 is legit obese. If you need 34 or higher you're a literal whale.

The fact that most brands carry these sizes and you can buy the sizes for non-fat people frequently on sale, means that brands cater to fat people like you.
>>
>>18783617
once again the stupid drivel you post can be easily debunked by anyone just checking a modelling agency online.

https://www.wilhelmina.com/new-york/men/men/23759-charlie-wilson

Pic related is a 33 waist, guess he is "legit obese".

you're a stupid clown, don't bother making any more threads or replies, I'm done engaging with you. i dont know your reason for making this thread but it was stupid, likely to get into some kind of retarded argument about bmi or bf% or whatever. consider killing yourself.
>>
>>18783623
That guy might occasionally wear a 33 to fit legs, but he doesn't have a 33 inch waist. Again, because pret a porter caters to people that are fat, with bigger waists than legs.

The first step to improving is admitting you're fat, just admit it and start eating better.

Raging online about how you wearing a 35 is okay actually because you can find a model claiming to wear 33 is pathetic.

>might occasionally wear a 33 to fit legs, but he doesn't have a 33 inch waist

Lol
>>
>>18783591

Lots of people who don’t seem to care about fitness regularly post in WAYWT threads though lol

Yeah, if you're a manlet lol

>Fitness > Fashion
you are forgetting
Social Skills > Fitness > Fashion
im a fairly athletic lean guy who has a ton of fitting gym clothes. im still a virgin at 28. i usually dress like pic related. sleeveless black top with grey bottom sweet pants.
>>
>>18783582
dude looks like an insecure faggot in cheap poor people clothes. he could level up heaps with some better basics
>>
>>18783936

Social skills are important too for sure but it also has it’s limitations, to outweigh one’s shortcomings in terms of physical appearance solely with great charisma, personability & humour isn’t always a viable option nor a complete solution.
>>
>>18783936
strong bottom energy on this guy despite the muscles lol

>Is it safe to assume majority of people here are already aware that physical fitness will have more of an impact on your appearance than clothing ever will (?)...
Yes. You must be new if you haven't noticed the almost-weekly threads that reflect this concept. We even have a regular general that focuses on being thin. Usually these threads are from some /fit/ migrant that only just realized that most social situations don't have much opportunity to show off your physique without making you look like a trashy chud.

>& that focusing on improving that aspect of yourself will make more of a difference than fixating on buying X brand or X item of clothing(?)
Generally, yes. Like the /fit/ migrants, we have natives here that notice that working on your sense of style is only one aspect of looking good hence the regular skin-care and hair threads. Fitness is tacitly implied everywhere unless specified. I've noticed very few brandwhores during my time here. And fixating on specific pieces of apparel are usually just somebody noticing a gap on their wardrobe and looking for advice. There are a few generals that fixate on certain things but they function just as much as retard containment as they are an exploration of the wide variety that their subject focuses on.
>>
>>18783959

Haha are you implying that fitness isn’t apparent even when fully clothed & muscle isn’t overly visible?

People can still notice defined shoulders, proportions and general fitness even if somebody is wearing relatively baggy or loose clothing.

Detecting some mild to strong disdain for people who are physically fit with the “trashy chud” comment too.

>Haha are you implying that fitness isn’t apparent even when fully clothed & muscle isn’t overly visible?
Not at all. I argued the opposite.

Ironic given that nothing of the sort was said so it's entirely a fabrication you came up with. Everybody but trashy chuds think trashy chuds aren't trashy. It's why everyone mocks Andrew Tate's fits.
>>
>>18783983
My max deadlift was 205kg for a few reps, but I don't deadlift anymore because I'm not retarded.

You're still fat.
>>
>>18784125
Since you are so triggered and quick to criticize others. Shitting up this board.
Post body with timestamp then.
>>
>>18783935
I would have to shave bone off my hips to get below 33 lol. Whats with /fa and being populated by twinkboys?
>>
>>18784151
>waist size
>I have to cut parts of my hips

Americans will do anything to justify being fat.
>>

Still havent posted body with timestamp

>come to /fa/

>think you're going to btfo everyone

OP is an unbelievably huge faggot
>>
>>18784392

I’m OP & I’ve responded to two people lol.

The fat autist that has gentlemen gazette looks cool even though he's a fat slob. His clothes hide it
>>
>>18783617
dyel skinnyfat take.

>>18784125
you might actually be a woman.
>>
>>18783582
Bulk does not look proportionately good in a silhouette. Whether it's width, or weight, or excess muscle, if it looks heavy and you move heavily in it, it's not ideal
>>
Athleisure is not fashion no matter how fit you are
>>
>>18785062

Agreed, there’s a sweet spot between being skinny & muscular but realistically most people will never reach that extreme level of muscularity even if they’re into their fitness
