Are high-waisted trousers just another trend or does it actually look good on just about anyone? If it's that simple, what's the reason why people don't wear it?
>>
It doesn't look good. The first photo looks a million times better than the second one.

It depends on your body type.
>>
>>18783734
they're trends. it's a trend /fa/ loved until it became mainstream and being contrarian now hates. they trend cycle will circle back in the next 5-10 years
>>
>>18783734
It definitely looks better, but that dumb AI shit is a bad example.

Fucking Trinny and Susanna over here.
>>
>>18783778
That’s 100% not how it works.
>>
>>18783738
Tucked in sweaters rarely look good, especially without an outer piece.
>>
>>18783734
they look better but it's supposed to be under tailored clothing like suits or sport coats. high waisted pants and a polo shirt doesn't really work because the formality level is different for the top and bottom half. also that double breasted suit jacket is way too short.
>>
Doesn’t look good on fat people that’s why Americans are scared of it
>>
I just saw a tall, skinny 60yo European (take into account that 60 of age in southern Europe equals 40 of Americans) with high-rise trousers and he looked like a fucking fashion catalog topmodel. High-waist has always been the way.

A trend that's been around for literally thousands of years?
High waist is the default. If you tie anything around yourself, you tie it around the navel, that's literally how it's been since the invention of trousers and continued uninterrupted riiiight up until about the 90s where it stopped.

Low waist is the trend that's stupid

cont
Why do you think military uniforms going back hundreds of years have their belts tied around the navel, the high waist. Because that's where it goes, that's normal.
Prior to the 90's, nobody would ever wear their trousers so low, it's as retarded as going around with your socks half falling off

>My legs and torso should be 70% of my total height!
No.
>>
>>18783930
You must have some fucked proportions if high-rise pants make you look like that.

why do fags like to tuck their shirt in so much?
>>
>>18783734
These all look bad because he's short
>>
>>18783734
They do look better and they feel better and I hate that look of a shirt tucked into low rise pants. The reason probably is that low rise became the norm or at least not a high rise and so you would really have to know what you are looking for. Normies just buy whatever the fuck is sold at whatever store.
