I run my hand through my thick flowing hair...
but something is off...
It has been like this for a while now but for how long? it's hard to say
nothing looks wrong from a glance, my hairline is still where it always was...
but running my hand through my bangs feels different than running it through the back or sides of my hair...
my bangs feel... thinner
I peer at my follicles, they are noticeably fewer and and mote far between at the top and front than at the back and sides...
but has it always been this way?
Is the great canyon that rears its head when I part down the middle any wider now at 21 than when I was 17??
I don't know
I wasn't worried about this back then
and then I see him...
the norwood reaper
he is far off in the distance, just a speck on the horizon
But it is undoubtably him
His approach is too slow
Too slow to notice at one time
But it is ever present
My father had been taken by the reaper before I was born
I always knew he would come eventually, and back then, even a few years ago, I didn't care
But now that I can SEE him, feel his approach
His figure terrifies me
